Did that feel good? How long before you need another hit?

Only lasts until someone else says something magnanimous and self-important. You up for the challenge?

On topic of "why it happened" - Jack Dorsey blames America.

http://sfist.com/2016/12/07/jack_dorsey_blames_america_for_trum_1.php

A little more than a week after a Twitter spokesperson failed to rule out the possibility that President-Elect Donald Trump could one day be banned from the platform for abuse violations, the company's CEO has said that he has "complicated" emotions around the reality TV star's use of the app...............

Why it happened? Who do you think these folks voted for?
http://www.latimes.com/nation/nationnow/la-na-florida-sandy-hook-hoax-20161207-story.html

A Florida woman has been charged with making death threats against the parent of a child killed in the Sandy Hook school massacre because she thought the attack was a hoax, federal authorities announced Wednesday.

Lucy Richards, 57, of Tampa was arrested Monday after a grand jury indictment on four felony counts of transmitting threats, the U.S. Justice Department said in a statement.

The threats were made Jan. 10, according to authorities, and included messages that said, "you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon," and "LOOK BEHIND YOU IT IS DEATH."

Another threat said, "there's nothing you can do about it," according to court documents.

...Others linked to the Sandy Hook massacre also have reported harassment by conspiracy theorists who argue the event was staged to erode support for the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.

A New York City man accused of approaching the sister of slain Sandy Hook teacher Victoria Soto and angrily claiming the massacre hadn't happened was sentenced to two years of probation in April as part of a plea deal. A teacher in the Newtown School District told a court in September that he had brought a weapon to school because he feared for his safety after receiving what he said were threats from conspiracy theorists. A Connecticut man was charged in September for allegedly phoning in a threat to the new Sandy Hook Elementary School, which opened this fall to replace the school demolished after shootings.

Who mentally ill people "vote for" is irrelevant... And, having dealt with such people, you cannot possibly draw any assumptions of what they might actually believe in other issues.

Wtf is wrong with this man?

Has trump lost his god damned mind?

Trump tweeted:

Chuck Jones, who is President of United Steelworkers 1999, has done a terrible job representing workers. No wonder companies flee country!

...
If United Steelworkers 1999 was any good, they would have kept those jobs in Indiana. Spend more time working-less time talking. Reduce dues

So you have the soon to be most powerful man in the world spending his time singling out a private citizen.

This thin skinned Butthurt in Chief just can't let sh#t roll off his back.

Off course, Mr. Jones almost immediately received threats from pro-trump goons.

Trump chooses former World Wrestling Entertainment executive Linda McMahon to head Small Business Administration

Mark Z. Barabak

Linda McMahon, who co-founded the World Wrestling Entertainment franchise and spent a fortune on two unsuccessful runs for the U.S. Senate, was named Wednesday as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to head the Small Business Administration.

"Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country," Trump said in a statement announcing McMahon’s selection.

In her own statement, McMahon cited her entrepreneurial background, saying it taught her the challenges faced by small-business owners.

Along with her husband, Vincent, McMahon founded and built World Wrestling Entertainment, known worldwide for its quasi-sporting spectacles.
"As an entrepreneur myself, I have shared the experiences of our nation's small-business owners and will do my best to advocate on their behalf," McMahon said. "My husband and I built our business from scratch, building it to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees."

The McMahons have known Trump for decades, and he has participated in several WWE-sponsored events, including a 2007 "Battle of the Billionaires," during which Vincent McMahon was lashed to a chair as Trump shaved McMahon's head.
Linda McMahon stepped down as the company's chief executive officer in 2009 and twice ran for the U.S. Senate from Connecticut, spending $100 million on her unsuccessful campaigns.
Trump wasn't McMahon's first choice for president. She initially backed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, but told the Associated Press in September that she maintained a friendly relationship with Trump and believed he would make a good president.

McMahon, a major GOP donor, gave $6 million to a pro-Trump super PAC in August and September.

Carl Karcher would have a heart attack if he saw what his company was doing. The guy was a hard right wing Christian. His billboard of four almost identical burgers with the caption "Freedom of Choice" amused Devo as they had just released a song with that name

Hard right wing republican Christian on our site prayed for Trump to get elected. Believing that it goes against their values is wishful thinking at best. We need to stop kidding ourselves about other people's beliefs and behaviors based on the ideologies they pretend to hold.

Then I got to see the intimidation tactics a few years later after they'd put themselves out of business in the steel industry and were running around trying to organize every mom and pop manufacturing business from ceramics to anything else they could sneak a ringer in and try to organize by intimidating the rest of the employees.

TGT, I've been involved in two organizing efforts and the only intimidation came from management.

A good read:
