It's like being proud that you've found a contractor that is willing to torture children, and then being proud that they actually did, and the other side did not---and now claim the other side were the lesser ones because of it.
Just keep on keepin' on, Ken. I LOVE it! Oh yes, the DNC was RIGHTEOUS! ROFL! THAT's why it lost. Dang those Russian hackers that exposed the sickness. Pftssstssssttt.
Good clean fun.

I have to chuckle at the righties here looking down their noses at the Americans who want to make more than minimum wage...I'm sure you apply that same standard when you work and want a pay check..You should be more concerned about Blue Shield raising your premiums...But no , let's pick on the less fortunate cause they are the ones jacking up the cost of living...

If you can sum up the realities of running a small business as "looking down their noses," then you are an example of why the leftist agenda is losing the battle of ideas.
You presume an ATTITUDE that does not exist, probably because your own attitude toward "righties" is precisely what you claim is "righties" attitude toward minimum-wage workers.
There are REALITIES that you don't seem to want to grasp. That's fine. Really. As I said, the more clueless and out of touch with reality the left becomes, the better for us as a nation.
Keep on keepin' on. I'm done arguing with you "lefties" because I realize that it's not only futile, it's also self-defeating. I don't WANT you to "get it." I do WANT you to drift more and more out of touch with the mainstream, which will more and more marginalize your ridiculous agenda.

Have you ever considered working harder yourself...?
Now who's looking down whose nose at whom? LOL
Yeah, all these small business owners are just lazy, greedy, grasping, capitalistic, racist, misogynist, bigoted, stupid, uneducated, idiotic....
Am I missing any of the usual-suspect epithets?
Keep on keepin' on.

Madbolter...what happen to the idea of paying people more if they produce more...? The new American moral is to pay people less when ever you can get away with it... That seems to be the corporate business model...Maybe not how you run your business...?

I don't know what "corporate business model" you're referring to. Perhaps you're referring to a few mega-corps, and I've ALWAYS agreed that these need to be heavily regulated and anti-trust legislation beefed up and prosecuted more often. I despise mega-corp monopolistic behaviors, and I despise mega-money in politics.
That said, none of that applies to about 90% of workers in America. Most workers in America do not work for mega-corps.
Furthermore, you are being incredibly disingenuous to decry the role of mega-corps in society and how they treat their workers WHILE your polished turd was entirely in the pocket of these very corporations. Whatever you can say about "Trump the elitist" can be said about "Clinton the elitist." ANY stroke of that brush on Trump just paints Clinton the same color.
Your argument as applied to small business owners is flatly ridiculous. The second a lower-wage worker adds to efficiencies, they are getting a raise. That's how it works in our company, and I'd bet from my knowing other small business owners that the vast, vast majority feel the same way. If nothing else, such a mentality reduces turn-over, and a major cost of employment is seeking, vetting, and bringing-up-to-speed new employees. So, reducing turn-over reduces that cost, bringing overall employment efficiency into the business model. I would much rather groom, train, and raise the same employee than start from scratch with some new one!
SMALL businesses do NOT want "churn," as it is costly and disruptive. But what the left wants is for ALL businesses to see NO increase in worker-productivity--just an increase in cost to the business. The left never says, "We're going to force you to pay your minimum-wage workers twice as much as you do now. But you are going to get twice as much value out of them." No, instead it is presumed that an order-taker at McDonald's is going to continue to "do his/her job." But you demand that McDonald's is simply going to pay twice as much for that SAME job.
And THAT is not gonna fly. THAT is going to produce reduced hours and/or increased automation. There simply isn't the margin to double wages without pretty close to doubling efficiencies. So, ANY business faced with the equation you propose IS going to make the "efficiencies" side of that equation balance out. McDonald's has specified that order-taking can and will be done by kiosks.
There. You "win."

Seriously, it's clear that most people on the left (if this thread is any indication) are simply not willing to think about any other perspectives than their own.
Mad, I like your thoughtful post. Wish we all put up more of that.
I think I should point out that the right does not have a lock on the small business market. I, myself, ran small businesses my whole career.
I also was involved in starting a mid-sized business, that employed many hundreds of people. After 30 years, that went under, largely because of the ineptness of the CEO (a conservative that insisted upon surrounding himself with people that told him what he wanted to hear, and did not give him bad news). Me and the other liberals on the Board that insisted upon asking questions got sacked.
But be careful of hyperbole. It destroys your arguments, when found out.
Small business does not employ the number of people you think. It accounts for 49.2 private sector employment, 42.9 percent of private sector payroll, 46 percent of private sector output.

Now, you tell me: Is it better for the worker to HAVE 50% of what you think is "morally required" or 100% of nothing? For MOST small businesses that have minimum-wage workers, that's what you are facing. If you would rather have the 50% of something, but you still demand the doubling of wages, then you are STILL going to get only 50%, because if you double wages, most businesses are going to cut hours and make up the difference via automation or just not get all of that minimum-wage work done.
100% of nothing. Of course, as we reach much closer to 100% employment, that becomes moot. You'll pay it if you want it. If you don't want the service, don't pay for it.
Of course, you leave out the part of small businesses that involve the "off the book" revenue, that is so widespread.

Perhaps yourself as well?
Okay. Let's try it....
How about thinking about how capital flows, as though the last 30-years has actually happened.
Awww... I'm broken already. Are you serious about this? THIS is the way you expect me to "think about it"?
Sorry, I don't cope with "paternalistic put-downs" very well. Assertions that imply the notion that I don't think, when you're asking me to think, just hurt my head. My bad.
Regarding the last 30 years, what would you like me to "get" from it? That we've gone astoundingly into debt as a nation? That "capital flows" into a few liberal strongholds have radically increased the crime/murder rates in those places while both have fallen everywhere else in the nation?
What would you like to focus on?
How does Germany do it?
Short answer: They don't. Germany is virtually unique in the EU, and that's because, like the USA, it enjoys such a HUGE "buffer" in the form of raw materials, food, industry, etc., that it takes longer than the rest of the EU for this whole "socialist democracy" sh|t to hit the fan. But, it's gonna spray them, just as the fine flecks are now showering the rest of the EU. The fan's gonna get turned off pretty soon, for non-payment of the electric bill. And that will be the only way to stop the spray.

From the "article" you posted:
The two also have a photo that sparked outrage on social media where they proudly hold up a dead cheetah.
If that's a cheetah, he has a pituitary gland issue. Retards.

Isn't the National Geographic Channel included in most cable tv packages? You should invite them over and all watch it for a while.
