Well, they're apparently wrong on this one.
The fact that they say it doesn't in the slightest convince me. In fact, the fact that they say it acts as counter-evidence to their claims, the very fact that THEY say it.
Assange says it was not done by a nation-state, and he's more credible in this mess than anybody else, particular mainstream media (utterly irrelevant at this point) and government-owned "intelligence" agencies.
The most pertinent fact is the display of HOW corrupt the DNC (and Hillary) are.
"WHY it happened" is that the DNC polished a turd and believed that they could sell it to the nation. Except for a few die-hard liberal pockets, across America, we weren't buying.
There's the best answer you're gonna get. Choke on it, swallow it, I really don't care. This very site is a crucible of the "grand experiment" showing EXACTLY why it happened.
Echo, echo, echo.
Carry on.

The fact that they say it doesn't in the slightest convince me.
Not even when the right-wing Gospel of believable news says this?
"Fox News told viewers yesterday it, too, has independently verified that Russia was responsible for the cyber-attack on the American election. Fox News’ report added that the operation had been “sanctioned by the highest levels of the Russian government.”
What are you holding out for, Breitbart? If so, you may be one of those people who simply ignore facts that happen to disagree with your ideology.

bolter, what destroys your credibility is your willingness to lie about the most provable things. In fact, the majority of voters in America WERE buying. By 3 million.
But your side successfully painted America as a hellhole outpost of the 3rd world, not worthy of saving or fixing. And enough people bought into that.

What destroys your credibility is your unwillingness to read with comprehension.
Except for a few die-hard liberal strongholds, such as Northern Mexico, er, I mean Southern Kalifornia en-mass, across the rest of the nation the majority didn't buy your polished turd.
BTW, I'm all for the Calexit! If you guys ever develop the needed sack to go for 3/4 of the states to let you exit, you can count on me to in my small way nudge Colorado to let you exit.
Bye bye now.

"We should tell China that we don't want the drone they stole back - let them keep it!"
Everything important he learned in kindergarten. Except he didn't learn to spell. And now he's manufacturing an international incident, and storming home in a huff.
Seriously, how old is he? It's starting to make more sense why he had the hots for a ten year old girl.
A couple of US bankruptcies here and there as he learns to take the training wheels off as president should be fine, just like it was when he learned to be a businessman. I'm sure China will be willing to bail us out.

Something I was considering over coffee this morning:
One of the things that seemed to characterize the Trump side during the campaign was that there was no limit to what they would do. Bald face lies, ignoring facts, personal attacks. Stuff we'd never seen before in modern campaigning.
Then, as part of it all, we hear how Trump will bring us all together, that the unification of America is his goal.
I remember think that this IS the goal of the President. I'd been presented a challenge by a Trump supporter, how could our side reach out to find common ground, thinking Hillary was going to win. I was sucked into the concept, and tried to list things in which we could find common interests. And we did!
And what do we see from his supporters, now that he's won?
Contempt, and the promise of retribution and attacks upon people. Do I see the warmth of Christian inclusiveness?
No. I see the heat of Christian crucifixion. The celebration of the concept of torture. The desire to grind people under their heel. The evaluation of how Constitutional protections can be eliminated.
Contemptible, indeed.

It's ironic that Trump gleefully reveled in the news about Hillary's hacked emails , a result of Russian hackings , and now tries to distance himself from the ensuing sh#t-storm with no hint of accountability...That's what i call presidential leadership..

The news is full of stories about the effort to flip the electoral college, even though there is no chance of Trump losing tomorrow.
The poor Democrats are victims of their own rhetoric!! They have smeared Trump so completely that they fear him irrationally!!
Despite the complete turnaround in the economy with the expectation of lower taxes and less regulations, they would rather have that shrill beast, who would keep all the insane liberal fantasies alive.
Have no mercy America. Liberalism must be eradicated from the government..

Bald face lies, ignoring facts, personal attacks. Stuff we'd never seen before in modern campaigning.
Wait, you mean "never before" except for the last time? "Never before" except for Clintons' campaigns?
Oh, no, you must mean "never before" except for how the left relentlessly (even on this very site) attacked EVERYBODY that wasn't up for gobbling down their polished turd of a candidate, calling such people the foulest names and employing the most vicious rhetoric. "Never before" that? Is that what you mean? And now that you're getting BACK a tiny shred of what you dished out (in such arrogant certainty of your inevitable win), NOW it's "contemptible, indeed." It is to laugh.
What I most laugh about is this: The more you bash on Trump, your elected president, the more laughable is the FACT that your polished turd couldn't even beat TRUMP! Wowwwww. That's SAD! And the more horrible you paint him, the more pathetic your lose becomes. That's SAD!
Oh the hand-wringing. Oh the humanity.
Again, bring on the Calexit! I really hope it happens. It's a lost cause to the NATION anyway. And that way, the NATION can watch your grand experiment in pretending to be just another European Socialist Democracy sputter and fail. How many hundreds of billions in debt are you already?

Liberalism must be eradicated from the government..
sure pyro, whatever you say. Let me remind you that California (Sixth largest economy in the world) rejected Trump by a yyyuge margin, check the popular vote too. The fickle uneducated voter will eventually see the light when the orange buffoon fails to deliver on his campaign promises. Bringing back jobs should be interesting since 80% of the jobs were lost to automation. I suppose Trump could eradicate robots?
