Just saw this today in the Sierra Reader.
I called the guy - I can't buy it for now but told him I'd post it on SuperTopo.
He wanted me to add that the "Twenty Five Letters From Norman Clyde" is signed by Glen Dawson.
The seller is in Bishop, CA.

Seems a shame to have to sell them in the first place. I wonder why.

Are they authentic?

Hopefully someone could buy the whole lot and donate it to an appropriate museum.

Wow- this is worthy stuff.

It would be nice to keep the whole collection together.

The Eastern California Museum in Independence used to have a Norman Clyde exhibit put together by Andy Selters. I wonder if they could get their hands on this memorabilia.

That is actually a picture of Clyde, and that WAS how he was known:

Hi all - thanks for posting this.

Spoke with the seller last night and the gear's been sold to the owner of the Monkey Bar in Mammoth, where it'll be displayed.

I think the Monkey Bar is owned by the guy who owns the Ski/Mountaineering shop upstairs.
