Hey everybody. I've been contacted by a bunch of folks about helping Enock Glidden and the team while we're in the Valley. For those of you who don't know, Enock has Spina Bifida, is paralyzed from the waist down and working towards his lifelong goal of climbing El Cap. Last year, Enock did a training trip to the Valley and spent a night on Astroman. People came out of the woodwork to help - it was a beautiful thing. We're returning next week. We have a climbing team and a bunch of folks already lined up to help. For anybody interested in helping, here's our schedule: We arrive in the Valley October 1st, we're staying in North Pines (#128) from October 2nd to the 11th. If all goes as planned, we plan on beginning our El Cap route on October 5th and descending October 9th or 10th. We will need many hands to help get Enock to the base of El Cap and also during the descent. While we will need to be more strategic about the carry team during the technical descent of the East Ledges, for the carry-in we are open to having as many hands as possible to help carry Enock and gear. Otherwise, come visit us on the 2nd in North Pines where we'll be grilling out and enjoying some drinks. Also, we're in our last few days of a Kickstarter campaign. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/muderlakart/enock You can learn more about this project there and contribute if you want this narrative to be shared....Thanks!

Wow, so cool! Congratulations Enock Glidden, Craig Muderlak and Christian Cattell. Huge congratulations and respects to all the volunteers who worked hard to keep it safe on the approach and walk off.
