Hello I arraving to San Fran tomorrow and planning to climb in the park until the 26th. considering all that I have already spent in gear and extra luggage I wonder if anyone knows someone or a place who would be keen to rent a portaledge?

Good luck. I don't think this is possible in the SF Bay area, unless a private person is willing to rent you their ledge.

You could email Jeff Vargen and see if he has gear available per the link below. I think he stopped doing this though.
