Hey folks,
This is my first post, but i'm finding myself in need of a partner to do my first big wall climb (predictably targeting the nose).
I've been climbing for 20 years now, used to work for Alpinist magazine in the single digit issues, have climbed the matterhorn and grand teton, cragged from yangshou china to mallorca to cathedral//cannon (NH) to wyoming, colorado, etc. etc.
I've been getting up to poke-o-moonshine, cathedral and the gunks to get my aiding systems in place. Still slow but making some progress.
In any case, due to kids, careers and wives, I've been having a really hard time finding a partner that would be interested in going for an el cap ascent.
If anyone out there in the NYC // new england area might be interested, please let me know!

Well there's your problem right there. Limit to 1, per customer. You'll be fine after that. :)

I feel for you. I'm a long time Gunks climber (not so much over the past few years) and was fortunate to have done the Nose with my Gunks partner just prior to both of us getting fully embalmed in careers, families, mortgages, etc.
Good luck and when you begin climbing only focus on the pitch at hand and your next bivy. Don't look at the top or ground; it helps.

if fb tells the truth PTPP may have hauled a cooler with this fellow.
