So Dean, if they all had guns, and were shooting up the place, that would be ok. I mean you know it's the second amendment and all
Interesting to me how conservatives like to pick and choose which parts of the constitution they like.

So tolerant 10b . And I used to work with an Oxford graduate back in my trail days. But keep your delusions.
What is your point?
My cousin has met Steven Hawking, so there.
You are an idiot.

I would like to hear you Trump supporters on this thread, who've gone on and on about why Hillary and the Dems are so bad re. the typical small govt., fiscal reasons (and whatever other personal or party-line reasons), discuss how on earth (pun intended) something we all here on the Taco presumably really care about, and which now has the potential for further decimation, you think that Trump and his band of rabid Republicans who now have control of all branches of government are going to help, and not further damage our environment?
First off, do you guys really deny that that climate change is happening (and yeah, yeah, climate change to a certain degree is normal however the recent rapid acceleration is not and its time for everyone to accept the science and TRY). Secondly, pollution. Damaging deregulation. Pro fossil fuels. Spills, leaks, smog, poisoning of the oceans and waterways... loss of protections for wildlife and wild places that need it in this over-populated industrial world... Yay for deregulation!
On a local level, what about pristine or sacred places that very well will be opened up for gas and oil exploration? Off-road vehicle use that decimates fragile ecosystems? Aren't any of you the least bit concerned with this? It's a big deal.
In this whole long mud-slinging thread there's been a little rational discussion but not much (maybe nothing) on this, especially from those of you who just voted these anti-environment people into office and handed them all 3 branches.
If you choose to discuss this be civil, enough already with the childlike bullying and nastiness.

Breitbart Executive Chairman Steve Bannon as chief of staff?
Drain the swamp, there's a new swamp in town! A stinky white racist misogynist swamp. Congrats.

This would have been so much easier if Clinton had won. Russ could have deleted the thread.
Now we will probably never hear from Ed, or Donini again.

the demographics are on the side of the dems
Yep, they can breed their way back into power. Clearly, being smarter wasn't the key.

Glad to see the rational, analytical posts by Mighty Hiker in this thread, among the usual short pointless back and forth abuse. Also that he has a tinge of optimism, albeit four years down the road. I'm not quite so optimistic, but it helped me to finally get some sleep last night.
How about a new acronym? Instead of USA, try BSA = Benighted States of America. And hope to god it doesn't morph into an FSA.

Trump is really shaking things up! Those insiders are on the outside now. You bet.
Secretary of the Interior goes to the CEO of Lucas Oil
Defense to Senator Sessions or Jim Talent from the American Enterprise Institute, or, god forbid, Duncan Hunter
Attorney General Rudy Giuliani
State to Newt Gingrich or Richard Haass from the Council on Foreign Relations
Commerce to Linda McMahon, wrestling czar
Treasury to former Goldman Sachs exec Steven Mnuchin, Carl Icahn, corporate raider, or JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon
Change you can believe in! Nice to see he's bringing fresh new faces, people concerned about the plight of the white working class.
