As an avid Trzmp supporter I can't wait to get down to McDonalds (get it?) and hear what he has to say on that little machine. I assume it is changed hourly.
Great place to hold a semi-political rally.

I've often wondered what Trump really thinks :-)
Objection! Assumes facts without evidence.

Some great responses from Muslim Americans!
"Whether we like it or not, there is a problem and we have to be sure that Muslims come in and report when they see something going on," Trump said. "When they see hatred going on, they have to report it."
*I'm a Muslim, and I would like to report a crazy man threatening a woman on a stage in Missouri.#MuslimsReportStuff
*You don't want to know what we actually put in hummus. #MuslimsReportStuff
*I need to report I saw an orange haired man on my TV scaring children #Muslimsreportstuff
*I wanna report a guy who is constantly sniffing and doesn't know what he is talking about #MuslimsReportStuff
*One time I accidentally ate pancetta bc I didn't know it was bacon. It was delicious 😳 #MuslimsReportStuff
*"Hello, I'd like to report a suspicious case of extreme mansplaining happening right now in St. Louis." #MuslimsReportStuff

Even with the hyperbole common to internet forum discussions, I think it is wrong and dangerous to simply label all Trump supporters as ignorant, mentally ill, racist, etc.--though there are plenty that fit those descriptions. I think it is important that we recognize that there is a deep feeling of discontent in this country--also clear in Bernie Sanders supporters. There is a feeling--and a not totally incorrect one, that all is not going well for many individuals and for the country as a whole--and that it is likely to get worse---a real fear for the future. Much of the reason for this is as a result of global socio-economic trends that are really beyond the ability of any politician or political party to totally control--though good ones can surely work to ameliorate the worst effects--the reason that Economics has been called "the dark science". No politician who hopes to be elected can publically admit to this reality, but by not addressing it and promising more than they can realistically achieve, they create false expectations which lead to deepening resentment and the anger that we see so often with Trump (who is openly and callously manipulating these feelings) and many of his supporters. But unless our leaders do work together to make the best of the current realities and to address the real issues that are troubling so many of those who are looking towards Trump--and to be honest about their limitations, the alienation and anger will get worse--and a new 'leader' will emerge--more careful and polished but just as fundamentally dangerous as Trump who may successfully tap that anger into the Presidency---this has been the history of the rise of totalitarian leaders.

I would say the opposite is also true. A good person (as opposed to Trump) can also tap into the disappointment and frustration, and make a run. But as long as elections are determined by the financial elite, we are going to get some version of the status quo. The POTUS can not change this on his/her own. We need to elect a congress and appoint a Supreme court willing to stand up to the financial elite and change the laws to level the playing field and return the outcome to the people. Citizens United was a travesty.

Those reasons (edit: behind the discontent, hurt, etc.) are mostly ecological, Alan, not political. Politicians can only do so much in a land of 330M, entropy, competitivity, limited resources, globalization, and ego. Just as you state.
If people on average were more literate in how nature works at its basic levels, there would be greater understanding of this.
What is entropy?
unless our leaders do work together to make the best of the current realities and to address the real issues that are troubling so many of those who are looking towards Trump--and to be honest about their limitations, the alienation and anger will get worse-
yes.
hence my expectations for on-going ecological boom and bust cycles in the near future. Unfortunately. Nature's way, I guess.
But as Guinan said to Picard in ST: TNG, reassuring... facing the Borg... This isn't the end, we survived - as will humanity survive.

Does anyone here really think Trump is going to win?
If no, will it be a legit loss, or evidence of a rigged system?
If it's a rigged system, how will you choose to revolt and help make America great again?

Looking at the best data available (FiveThirtyEight.com) Trump has about a 90% chance of losing the election in 4 weeks. It would basically have to be rigged if he wins.

That's how this place rolls... the Trump haters consistently demonstrating the same characteristics (narrow-minded ignorance.. intolerance) they condemn in Trump supporters.
Kinda ironic, ain't it.
