No one "won" that debate..I think we all lost and can't even believe the political reality in our country today...it's shameful really and this applies to both candidates--though I'm somewhat biased and think Trump is the stinkier of the two turds...just absolutely depressing.

Hillary will be president. (I'm NOT a Hillaryphile but I'll vote for her over Clown Trump)

Bill will have an office in the West Wing but he will be allowed only male interns.

Bill will work with Hillary's AG to appoint a special prosecutor to lock Trump up for tax evasion.

Hillary will appoint Obama to the Supreme Court and Lloyd Blankfein to the Federal Reserve.

Melania and Ivanka will host the next Mr Universe contest.

Cruz, Ryan, and Rubio will star as the 3 Stooges in a new Hollywood blockbuster film.

NSA will provide intel to the FBI on all the StuperTopo Trump supporters. Check your anchors ;-)

Wow. Riley is the only hard working Supertopo serial poster.
Must feel pretty special.

BTW, fact checkers have already rated most of Trump's big claims as false. So much for making America great again.

Most reality based sources I've read seem to think Trump will have a hard time pulling this off. Meanwhile, Trump fans once again say big victory.
We'll see!

Re-shat

Of course, vote for the Green Party. Where else can you elect New Age Nazis, masquerading as Environmentalists without them knowing it ?

All of their New Age bluster mimics the occult idealism of the National Socialists before shortening their brand name to Nazi.

The clowns here need to stay off the streets.

It doesn't take long to do some fact checking on his claims blue.

He's done!"

TrumpCuppers DO NOT CARE about fact checkers.

They live in their own little deplorable world, believing whatever goo the Donald shoots into their face. (You like that, EdwardT?)

It doesn't take long to reiterate the fact checking that has already been done over and over and over and over and over again.

Not that you, or any of the TrumpCuppers will believe it.

Edit: deleted my TLDR wall of text.

Short version: I am frustrated by the way America does politics and in the end I'll vote for Hillary

None of these debates changed my decision on Trump vs Clinton, but they did deepen my entrenchment. I acquired more respect for Hillary's composure and I lost more respect for Trump because of his inability to construct a coherent position on anything. Anyone can point out flaws, but not many can offer real workable solutions. Certainly not Trump so far in this campaign.

Hillary won on content and style. She maintained composure (for the most part) during Trump's ragged, perseverating, redundant attacks, and answered most of the questions directly.

Trump's style was more composed than the first debate, but that isn't saying much, as he stalked and loomed behind his opponent like some kind of psycho killer. His content didn't improve at all...he just redirected most of the questions asked of him with the same tired lies and bullsh#t.

That last question, though, was quite interesting (in respect to their reactions). Hillary acknowledged Trump's family (not him), then shifted towards her own agenda as President...Trump pretty straight up acknowledged Hillary's fighting spirit, and his respect for it. And he made that acknowledgement pretty short & sweet.

Trump is like a coked up, viagra popping dark shadow version of Bill Clinton...given the distaste the GOP has expressed about someone like Bill...why would Conservatives even consider voting for Trump?

The weird thing is that when this is all over, Don and Bill will be hanging at some private golf course laughing about their latest exploits...where is Hunter S. Thompson when you need him most?

Radical, humor can be used for good to diffuse tensions, to expose hypocrisy, in situations where we feel powerless and need some outlet for our grief, but it can also be used to manipulate people's perceptions about an issue with incorrect facts or distracting from real issues, to disempower victims and condone bad stuff. Was humor ok when Nazis used it to make comics of big-nosed Jews? In isolation one could say "get a thicker skin" but in the context of the times and the intent of changing people's attitudes toward Jews, it was terribly hurtful and wrong. I am not trying to equate Trump's overall actions to Hitler's overall actions... though there are eerie similarities that are worthy of their own separate discussion. I'm using this jew caricature as an extreme example to make the fundamental issue clear.

Staying with this issue, making jokes designed to desensitize us to Trump's behavior is hurtful and wrong. That kind of humor is in service to condoning actions that as a society we have shamed out of existence over the last few generations, objectifying women as powerless creatures who must put up with whatever trespasses men commit. There is no place in modern society where that way of thinking is acceptable.

I was almost caught up in the exception and humor of the Miley Cyrus one... but if you dig deeper you will see the apparent hypocrisy is only there if our own biases blind us to the stark differences. It boils down to personal power and boundaries and respect and consent. Miley is an adult woman who can choose how she wants to present herself to the world, and take responsibility for the consequences of that. Her actions can be seen as (1) exploiting for her own benefit our societal fixation on sex, and (2) shamelessly embracing her own sexuality as a way to reduce the stigma and double-standards embedded in our society, where it is ok for men to publicly own their sexuality but it is not ok for women to do the same. We think we are an elevated society because we don't require women to be covered in burkas, and yet we are primitive thugs in thinking Miley's actions are disgraceful when guy performers have been doing similar things for more than half a century without public disgrace. She is essentially an activist fighting to give women everywhere more power and freedom in how they choose to live their lives. This is not hurtful to anyone else, unless you stretch really hard to call it damaging that other people who disagree with her values might see her behavior while flipping channels on TV. This cannot at all be equated to a guy bragging about grabbing a woman's vagina. That is just plain an assault and in no way services the freedom of anyone except the freedom of an abuser to pursue victims and commit crimes without consequence.

Making a joke that equates these things, that labels these both as having the same impact on women, is itself insulting to women and shows a fundamental lack of insight into the ways in which women are still oppressed in our society. Our society is more open and equal than ever before, but the playing field for men and women is far from being level.

These are serious issues and I see it as an abuse of humor to use it in a way that makes the world a worse place. For me, it all revolves around the intent of the humor, the underlying message.

I think its funny that some of the liberals here clearly had some concern for a while.

How retarded do you have to be to truly think she was going to lose?
