Half way up the route I reach for the green c4 or x4 and its not to be found. We think they may have unclipped on the scramble down from the rim (they were clipped together). If found I'd appreciate one of them back, you can keep the other for your efforts.

Turns out that size is unnecessary for tpod and also unnecessary for speed of life. Go figure.

Feel free to shout booty all over this thread unless you are a wrinkled has been who doesn't climb any more!

Hope it works out for you....but go easy on the wrinkled set, it's just a question of your skin getting too big for your body.

Appreciate your tight gear dropping skin while you've got it bro.
We all achieve geezerness eventually.

No, not everyone makes it that far. The only thing worse than becoming a geezer is NOT becoming one.

That's awesome, Mike. I'd have gone for that.

Good luck on your gear, Snowhazed. Did you have fun anyway?

Mike your story reminds me of the time in the late 60's we found a wallet wedged way back in a crack in the Valley. We were able to fish it out with a long branch. It contained about $20, credit cards, 4 joints and an ID for the San Francisco vice squad. The credit cards and ID were mailed back with a rambling thank you note.

Hey I was only calling out the wrinkled HAS-BEENS, if you are still lacing up or velcroing or whatever some sticky rubber then you can scream booty all you want.

Yeah it was a great day out, hungover, sleep deprived for months from fatherhood, up from sea level, pulled of speed of life by the skin of my teeth- almost dry heaved myself off the last moves. Super good. Worth the cams in the end, but still hopeful.

That is some profound wisdom there. Simple and true.

I may have to go climb that rig, Werner's giving shout-outs to quality stone. I really f*#king hating long approaches though...

That's why you gotta do the tpod linkup so that you don't have to slog up that approach.

It really is the cream of the crop. A sight harder than all the other pitches of its type and grade in the high sierra imho.

Exactly. 2 cars or hitchhiking skills are very useful.

My interest has been piqued! What does the link-up go at? Real 5.10?

p2 of speed comes in at 11b. If you have small hands it could be much much harder...

p1 is the best 10+ in the meadows area
