Can someone post a larger version of this pic?
A big thank-you to anyone that has.

Great, spectacular photo.
I tried copying it to my Photobucket to enlarge, but "it will not translate" from letters to pixels. Good luck, Avery.

Hello Avery, I can't tell you how to enlarge this picture; how ever Peter Haan may have some good ideas as he's a wizard with slides... I can with some certainty tell you that our route, Charley and mine, is roughly 100 feet to the climbers left of their bivi. The top of that tower is at the mid-point of the face and I recall that small ledge left and under their portaledges... At this time I don't have a digitizer for my slides, as I do have a pic of that same area from our route. My god, but the Monolith is way melted, really deep slots. I slipped a leg into one of them as we were leaving the area back in '76. Osman, Calhoun, Gerberding, and Smith's route, Ride the Lightning, in '97 sounded an epoch.
Cheers! Russ

Russ,
Hey, it's Life Itself here. I figured all this out long ago. If you bump, they will come.
On behalf of our sleeping Kiwi, "Thanks, mate!"

Honestly just last evening I shared with Mrs Diabase, that her photo enhancement was
Well received, had been complimented and understood for what it is .
The whole sad episode is not worth going through here.
She wants nothing to do wit us "So&so's" she is team Blanchard when it comes to the taco.
She co- guided the Grand & a recent tragedy, Gary Falk's fatal fall, had led me again to ask her if she would read and share ? It led to her venting, so I can not now ask her to do anything.
If I can switch it and enlarge it without distortion I ll repost it ,
if I can't ? At personal risk of being Frisked, she rolls like that,;-), I'll ask her
She often tells me how or leaves notes to follow.
..we shall see?
The Short answer is No. one can expand the photo, in a program, for viewing
but the configuration is fixed . . . (at a resolution of 72. )changing to acquire a larger printable copy? The good wife explained that starting with a print copy one can then make laser print
Copies increasing the numbers to compensate for distortions.
Hey that's great I stand corrected . . Paging Mrs gnome.....

I have a vague recollection this pic was used in an advertisement.
