Hi. I'm arriving from Mallorca on Tuesday (26th) and will be around till the 31st. I'm looking to do just about anything (except bouldering) but am coming with limited gear and limited experience on granite and cracks. I guess 5.10 would be a good level to start at with multipitch stuff, although I'm leading much harder stuff here.
Let me know if we can hook up
Thanks

Are you going to the valley or Tuolumne? You should be able to find a partner by checking the kiosk bulletin boards. Just check them out to make sure they are not fakers.

If you are not familiar with yos granite, cracks and slabs you might want to run up a few 5.8s or 9s just to get settled in and work up from there.

Just spent a few days at C4 and had trouble finding partners. Granted it was smoking hot, but I was game for driving to Tuolmne. I got a few nibbles and met a great partner, but he vanished before we could firm up plans. I was told that people came by the site looking for me, but with the heat I was not waiting around for partners in the morning, I was gone by 6 am, connect the night before. Several notes on the board had email addresses and phone numbers, worthless if potential partners do not have cell service (t-mobile sucks). Leave your site number.
