Hey Neebee, thanks for the great Scottish history post! I love that stuff!
BTW, just curious, how/where did you learn your written grammar skills? Most unique, like Norwegian and Gnome of the Diabase.

hey there say, clode... thanks so much...

and as to this:
ahhh, the ol' grammer skills, :)

well now, you seeeeeeeee:

short and fast, post, (due to me, used-to-be-being on dial-up--and--getting bumped-off-line, constantly)...

(type fast, and short, like telegram??? was the answer, then...)

__
but then, the trouble was:__
i liked to say things a certain way, as to 'make the words'
paint a picture, but, it's hard to do that, in short 'bursts'...

so, i just tried to make the post, like if, talking to visitors, etc...
(that was all about two years, back)...

:) but, NOW, i don't have dial-up anymore, so...
now, i can 'talk and visit' a lot more, with the 'neat words'
that i can 'paint with' :)

so, i reckon this is what i must be doing, :))

wow, i am OFF NOW, to go finish seeing this neat scottish stuff,
i was SO THRILLED that i found it... :)
have not seen it all yet...
hope to, by sunday!

have fun, everyone!!!

hey there say, feralfae!! wow, happy surprise here, i was just thinking of you!

:)

got up for the ol' pup dog...
going back to sleep now... (me, and, most likely the dog will, too) ...

:)

i find so many 'little treasures' in this series... am getting
through it slower, than wanted, as, i had a LOT of yard work...

a simple climb, no rocks, :)) but lots of dirt, :)

hey there say, all...

here is a link, about dr. tom pety...

being mentioned now, in PART FOUR...

(slow going, for me, but i have not had much free time,
since i discovered this excellent FUN, as to this "100 years"
here... :)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Patey

He climbed extensively in Scotland, (making the first winter traverse of the Cuillin ridge with Hamish MacInnes, David Crabbe and Brian Robertson in 1965), as well as achieving notable ascents in the Alps and the Karakoram including the first ascent of the Muztagh Tower (7273 metres) with John Hartog, Joe Brown and Ian McNaught-Davis in 1956 and Rakaposhi (7788 m) in 1958 with Mike Banks. In 1968, he and Ian Clough were the first to climb Am Buachaille, a sea stack off the coast of Sutherland.[1] He, Rusty Baillie and Chris Bonington pioneered the route up the Old Man of Hoy which was repeated with others on a live televised BBC outside broadcast on 8–9 July 1967. At the time of his death he was working as a general practitioner (GP) in Ullapool, in the far north-west of Scotland. He was killed abseiling from The Maiden, a sea stack off Whiten Head on the Sutherland coast.

will add in, whoever else, they mention, later, in this section...
