On Venus it's 834 degrees F.

At the surface, it's said that the atmospheric (95% carbon dioxide) pressure equals that of being 1km under water on earth. A middling breeze blows giant boulders around.

Warmlite tents might hold up, so bring nothing else !

It is said that (somehow or other) Venus was like earth until a number of years ago.

"Runaway" climate change vaporized its oceans, thus stopping techtonic geology. Not sure if that's "bad," and I didn't at all realize that oceans were key to techtonics.

Don't get me wrong !I'm sure Venus is a nice enough place!

Only around 90* with 90% humidity here in NH. No big deal. Roofing sucked today, but Iím still standing so how bad was it really? Guess Iím just being a puss(y). Ok, going to pass out now for a while in the AC, talk to you later. Iím so glad that itís friday because I donít have to be on that roof tomorrow. Sadly, I have to be on a side project roof all day Sunday. Monday, back to roofing the new home. F*#king roofs, I hates them.

At least you have that big ol lake to jump into there in Big Fork and you can drink Flathead lake Brewing Company Centennial IPA. I used to love that stuff out of a can when it was ice cold on a hot day.

HA HA, Thanks Walleye! I am actually the Brewmaster and Director of Brewery Operations here at Flathead Lake Brewing! Great to hear you love the Centennial.

Next time you are up here come in and ask for David, I will hook you up!

Well its about 5, so I might as well have a beer and jump in the lake!

^^^^^^^OK, that is SUPER COOL... A great career in a killer place. Life is good. I was care-taking a ranch in Big Arm for the last couple of winters and traveled all over Montana and Idaho in the summers. Montana is the greatest place in the world in the summer as far as I am concerned; except for all the damn fires, now; just like Yosemite

Pretty nice at 8,500 ft. today. A breeze too the edge off, although the rock was getting pretty warm by the time we quit. Had shade nearby, which helped.
