At the very least they probably wouldn't drown. Death by blunt force trauma is much more likely.

Fun stuff to watch. I'm at my limit on Class-4 stuff that looks completely mellow on video. Being in the driver's seat on that thing must be absolutely incredible.

As a boater myself, I can tell you that such a descent does not require skills, only stupidity. What "skills" did you see in the video? I only saw a moron hanging on for dear life.

In one of those videos the guy seems to execute a lightning fast roll... Now where the Hell there's enough water and time to roll before his face and arms were sheared off I'm not sure but he did it.
