Some time ago Clint C. and Ed H. posted a list - I believe by year - of all known first ascents done in Yosemite. Does anyone know where that is in this forum, or otherwise? Need to find it but can't.
Thanks,
John Long

Thanks Mike and T!
But there was a spread sheet that had the FAs listed by year. That was the one I was looking for and can't seem to find it on that index.

I am happy to send a sorted list, in text format, by year if you specify what information you'd like (route names, FA teams, etc)...
This also appears on the Yosemite Climbing Association website (though not the most recent information, which I can also provide) though I can't find it there anymore...

John - you can download YOS.xls from clint's site then sort on column h. This will rearrange the list ordered by year.
It will look like this:
EDIT: brown's simple instruction will work

P.S. If you don't know how to sort in Excel, what you do is:
1. Click on one of the cell values in the column you want to sort.
So in column H (year), you could click on the first one, which is 2010.
2. Click on the Home menu (menus on the top are File, Home, Insert, etc.).
3. Click on the Sort&Filter button on the far right.
If you don't see this button, make the Excel window wider on your monitor.
4. A drop-down menu opens up below the button. Click on "Sort Smallest to Largest".

Or you can 'sorta' figure it out on your own. :)
I told y'all before Clint knows most everything. I wonder if he can answer Donini's question about
Who are those guys?
I use the select all columns, then click on data -> sort technique myself.
Why you may ask? It gives you more options, such as secondary and tertiary sort levels.
But it's kinda like the difference between mind and mined? To each his own.
