I think the aircraft contrails are not a major player in cloud production, but a noticeable contribution.
Thanks for posting good Sir.

While there are many more jets there are fewer, but much bigger, engines.
They are vastly more fuel efficient than in the past but for all I know
they may produce more and/or bigger contrails. I would think there have
been some studies of that, but not necessarily since that's of little concern
to the engine or airframe builders.

^^^ LOL, the weight and balance testing fools the chemtrailers again. ^^^
Dang you are gullible, Cochrane.

weight and balance testing doesn't involve complex arrays of spray nozzles

The chemtrails are the remains of any ethics in America being vaporized by the trumpeters.

(from the comments)
Sigh...
-Photos of the Evergreen Supertanker (Now in the boneyard because it never got commissioned, the new Supertanker is a 747-400) used to fight fires.
-Cloud seeding aircraft
-a 737 refueling panel (second from the bottom)
-an apparatus on a KC135 boom used to spray WATER on other planes inflight to test anti icing capability
-pictures of an airliner dumping fuel to reduce gross weight for landing
-various shots of the interior or research planes
-auxiliary fuel tanks installed in the back of a small plane for a ferry flight
-the "Sprayer 05" and "Hazmat Inside" sticker has been photoshopped onto..wait for it..the lavatory in a Boeing 777.
-pictures of the interior of a C130 installed with a MAFFS firefighting device
-pictures of a C130 spraying for mosquitos
-picture of a 757 on approach into Gatwick International creating an aerodynamic contrail/wingtip vortices
-a quick search of "Biegert Aviation" reveals that it is a 1960's era DC3
-the pylon drains on am Airbus A320 series, used to drain residual fluids from the aircraft, because of leaks in the hydraulic fuel systems.
-and of course the ballast barrels used in the testing of any large airliner, through which water is pumped to simulate shifts in center of gravity such as passengers moving about the cabin. Used over...and over..and over again as "proof" of "chemtrails"

I suspect they're spraying LSD. Trump got elected. I think. Or is it just a dream?
Edited to add: Too rational monolith, won't fly.

Sigh. Aviation fuel logistics and management at major airports is already a daunting affair without complicating it further with any such nonsense, particularly at scale. Ditto for aircraft scheduling and maintenance.
