Shared a few with a young friend who is getting stoked on the sierra.

His psyche is infectious despite how bad he probably smells.

Thank you Vitaliy!
Far and away the most active and stoked FAist on this site.

I still get out quite often, albeit at a lower grade than in my twenties.
But I really enjoy your passion and motivation.

Doing these incredible FAs is one thing,
but sharing these amazing adventures with us takes real effort, and in reality fuels my own fires, motivating me to try harder, more no take onsights, more fighting beyond what I had wrongly "accepted" as my limits.

Your TRs are powerful stuff, and your enthusiasm is infectious.

Thank you! The aim is to expose cool places, good climbs or maybe share a positive experience with those who want to read. Glad some enjoy it!

Vitya, more than "some" enjoy it. Of course, I hate it cause you make me feel so inadequate.

For every plaudit you see here there are probably many more withheld by folks who won't share because they are only lurking, non-registered, or turds.

I, for one, eat your sh#t up, even if I DON'T SAY NOTHIN' at the time.

So if you were counting, you could count me in as automatic (I've missed a few exploits now and again, I'm sure). But you're a humble guy and you're not counting. But thanks for sharing, as it's a big job, though you enjoy the writing. You are becoming more and more philosophical, which is commendable.

It's guys like you who DESERVE SPONSORSHIP and I hope that comes soon.

Clif Bar has openings, I bet. (They withdrew that deal for MooseDrool--awww...)

None of this adulation is going to your head, of course.

And it's just me being me, but what if Vitaliy was a gurl? What then? That's a whole 'nother thread.

Keep on chooglin', V.

Hi Vitaliy

I have been fan ever since your start those 5-6 years ago. What you accomplished in this short time is really amazing. Keep it up son!
Cheers, Alois.

Hey Alois, have to say you are one of the few people I really looked up to after joining the forum. The older write ups you contributed on summitpost were read multiple times. They sort of proved that one could be a n employed weekend warrior and still make time to find original adventure in the Sierra.
When I joined the forum, I started a thread about unclimbed peaks in CA about 10 days after climbing my first one in the Eastern Sierra (Whitney). haha. Finding places that have not been yet explored was one of the hopes I had before learning to use crampons or getting into rock climbing really...so thanks to people like you for giving people like me hope. Your replies were always well thought out and helpful. Wish you posted more online...and I still have your route on Langley on my tick list! A friend did it last year and said it was pretty good. So it does see some traffic!

The SP thread I mentioned... :) LOL

Thank you ALL for the warm posts. Best reward for contributing content is people saying they enjoy it. Over the years writing/photography became a part of my creative self expression along with climbing. Getting comfortable enough to bring up some of the demons from the past has been very helpful to fight them off. Of course I don't talk about some very personal stuff, but what I was able to share over the years helped to clear up my mind, at least partially. So thanks for looking. I benefit too. :)
