^Didn't know you were such a follower of music Jim, what song are you listening to right now?

Cream was the band that did my ears in at the Fillmore, 1967.

For three days the only thing I heard was "that spoon, that spoon, that spoonful"

Made it hard to study.

I first saw Mr. Zimmahman live in 1964. Everybody was saying "he writes great songs, but he can't sing for sheeit".

I spent a lot of time collecting most all of Bob's live recordings that don't match his records. I've slowed down a bit and so has Bob. He can nevertheless deliver amazingly powerful performances given the right circumstances.

Don't ask me nothin about nothin.

Can still bring "blood to my eyes" - on a good night.

Dinosaur? Fukking A - kiss my ass.

Prince dug him

Prince paid tribute to classic rock artists Bob Dylan, the Beatles and the Cars by covering their songs during a three-plus hour performance in Toronto on Friday night (Nov. 26).
Prince has always been a high-energy performer with a catalog of songs so long that if printed on paper could stretch across Minneapolis. The fact that he added Dylan’s ‘Make You Feel My Love,’ the Beatles ‘Yesterday’ and the Cars ‘Lets Go’ to his seemingly never-ending set list proves that Prince is still full of surprises.

Bob Dylan, Point Dume, zBrown, Frisbee. Best show I ever attended. I ain't lyin'.

Bob Dylan did the Rolling Thunder tour in the mid 70s with Joan Baez and others. In 1976 Joan and Bob played at the Bread and Roses festival at Berkeley which featured a amazing who's who of folk singers. Dylan was doing white-face makeup on the Rolling Thunder tour so Joan Baez dressed like Bob Dylan and put on white face and was announced on stage as Bob Dylan. She played four songs before they told the crowd.

Go to 3:25 to hear her do it
