Surely one of the best lines in the Valley, one of the most independent, and an awesome location.

Dean continues to show his mastery of freeclimbing in all it's forms.

The amazing thing is that a route of that quality in one of the most popular climbing areas on earth waits so long for a second.

Really an inspired and inspiring climb, for the the first ascenders as well as for Dean and Leo and anyone who comes later.

The rating should really be split like: 5.12d / 5.11 X , and the guidebook is a little sloppy with the way they write the rating as 5.12d R.

yeah, something more like the below topo would be nice... only with beta on where to put each piece, when to use long runners, and a little more detail on the difficulty of each 10' section.

Inspiring work Dean and Leo, and the FA's.
