Yep, those are knickers.

When Jim and I were in this very quiet and out-of-the-way place, we both were amazed there wasn't more activity here;
but it was late in the year when we were there (1980s).
It's really easy to get to, but relatively un-trodden by Yosemite standards.
Thank goodness climbers are pretty lazy and happy to stay in the ditch.

Boo Dawg was so smart and fortunate to have gotten in here back when he was a bearded youth!

I hope to get down to Helen's Dome in the SPlatte, and maybe to Enchanted Rock in TX with my major dude John Ferguson later this year. No pictures of these fine domes right at the moment, but later, in a TR I hope.

Yes, Steve. I named Dome Perignon in tuolumne after establishing some routes there. See the Reid/Falkenstein Guide.

I got an Idaho dome. Steinfell's Dome in City of Rocks


didn't make it out to the Wind's for Midsummer Dome. :(

Had the pleasure of climbing this Tuolumne-esque dome in Norway last year.
