I have been working in the LA area for about one month.. I crushed my heel and talus bones while climbing this August and I think I am able to start the process of learning to climb again.

I'd love to hear about any moderates in the inland empire area.. sport or crack.

Also if anyone is down for trading belays at Hangar 18 in Upland or climbing outside, let me know. I would love to check out Rubidoux. I only have shoes, and harness here for now, but I will be bringing my rack and rope down when I go home to visit in a few weeks.

Thanks!

Hi Andrew,
There are at least three facebook groups that cover local climbing, and people often look for partners and organize local outings from them:

High Desert Climbers
Riverside Rock Climbers
So Cal Climbing Friends

I do climb at Hanger 18 Upland but since I'm retired I'm only there during the day and mostly climb outside during the week. I'm sure you'll find partners there at Hanger 18 - the people are pretty friendly.

Andrew that is a hard injury. Don't reinjure it.
Good luck and have fun.
