Its LONG past time to take the gloves and restraints off our military. We have the best warriors on the planet. Turn them loose....let them hunt every one of these whack jobs down....and kill them.

An incredibly naive view of military power. I doubt you have ever served, otherwise you would realize that sending our military on that sort of open-ended and impossible mission is the ultimate disrespect of them.

The "kill-em all: policy did not work in Vietnam. We "turned tail and ran" (not my words) from Vietnam and at the end of the day things worked out nicely without our "assistance" there.

Iraq is an unmitigated disaster which is basically beyond repair. All we can to is try to slow down the bleeding.

The President of the United States can't do anything about an angry Tunisan with a truck and a gun.

Nor a self-loathing gay Muslim with a rifle. No "efforts" including the most sweeping gun-control are going to stop rogue individuals. So, let's not use these rogue incidents to derive anything in particular about national policy!

And a lot of section 8 sure seems to be devoted to safety.

Typical confusion about what "common defense" and "general welfare" meant to the founders.

Of course, having abandoned "originalism," you're left with no anchor to "original intent," which conveniently frees you to make such phrases mean whatever suits you at the moment.

Which leaves us all wondering what "version" of the constitution we're talking about or "defending."

Thou shalt not kill....

The commandment actually states, "Thous shalt not murder", but it has been diluted down for various reasons.

And killing is much different than murder.

How about immigration policy??? Visa policy? I see no problem in 'adjusting' those policies somewhat.

But overall, I'm picking up what yer layin' down.

Did anybody read the story released today about what the Bataclan attackers did to hostages?

What's up with France trying to bury that story?

Bataclan Torture Coverup
After the Bastille Day attack in Nice, news outlets rehashed debunked claims that France actively covered up horrifying details of torture at the Bataclan in November 2015 attacks.

Claim: France deliberately suppressed information about torture and mutilation at the Bataclan in November 2015 to avoid upsetting Muslims.
False

Example: [Collected via e-mail and Internet, July 2016]

bataclan wiki

Origin:On 14 July 2016, scores of people were killed in Nice, France, when a large truck plowed through a Bastille Day crowd. This terror attack took place just eight months after a series of coordinated terrorist attacks hit Paris and claimed the lives of 130 people, 89 of whom were killed at the Bataclan nightclub.

As the world reacted in grief and horror to the Nice trgaedy, both Fox News and Britain's Daily Mail newspaper published articles reporting that France affirmatively covered up unspeakable acts of torture that occurred at the Bataclan on the night of the November 2015 attacks. A headline published by the latter sensationally asserted that France (then grieving) purposely covered up the worst details of what was by all accounts unbridled horror:
Bataclan_victims_were_castrated_by_the_ISIS_killers_and_had_their_eyes_gouged_out___Daily_Mail_Online

After repeating most of the rumors as if they were fact, the paper added that "prosecutors at the parliamentary inquiry into the Bataclan deaths have cast doubt over the claims after revealing that no sharp knives were found at the scene." Fox News (aggregating from a separate source) similarly framed the rumors as fact:

A French government committee has heard testimony, suppressed by the French government at the time and not published online until this week, that the killers in the Bataclan tortured their victims on the second floor of the club.

The chief police witness in Parliament said that an investigating officer, tears streaming down his face, rushed out of the Bataclan and vomited in front of him just after seeing the disfigured bodies.

According to this testimony, Wahhabist killers apparently gouged out eyes, castrated victims, and shoved their testicles in their mouths. They may also have disemboweled some poor souls. Women were stabbed in the genitals — and the torture was, victims told police, filmed for Daesh or Islamic State propaganda. For that reason, medics did not release the bodies of torture victims to the families, investigators said.

But prosecutors claimed these reports of torture were “a rumor” on the grounds that sharp knives were not found at the scene. They also claimed that maybe shrapnel had caused the injuries.

Both outlets single-sourced their claims from a 15 July 2016 article published by the HeatStreet web site. That outlet chose the hours after the Nice attack to dredge up old claims from an inquiry that occurred in March 2016, with the only marginal relevance to the claims being another outbreak of carnage and a frightened public. Nothing more occurred between the March 2016 inquiry and the July 2016 spate of claims to warrant republication of unvetted rumor in a time of international grief and worry.

The portion in question originated via an inquiry published (not suppressed) by the French government, based on 21 March 2016 testimony in which investigators were asked about rumors of torture or propaganda creation at the Bataclan. A translated version of the inquiry's minutes revealed that investigators soundly debunked the claims on record:

Mr President Fenech For the information of the inquiry, Mr. PT, can you tell us how you learned that there had been acts of barbarism within the Bataclan: beheadings, evisceration, enucleations?

MTP After the assault, we were with colleagues at the passage Saint-Pierre Amelot when I saw tears streaming out of the eyes of an investigator who went to vomit. He told us what he had seen. I did not know this colleague, but he was so shocked that it went to see it myself, naturally.

Alain Marsaud. Acts of torture happened on the second floor?

MTP I think, as I entered at the ground floor I saw there no such thing had occurred, only people hit by bullets.

Minutes from the inquiry session of 30 March 2016 again addressed what were clearly marked as rumors, and the government inquisition again heard no forensic evidence that supported such claims:

Mr. President. Following the November attacks, he was referred to the commission of barbaric acts.

François Molins. It's a rumor. Forensic doctors were categorical: there was no act of barbarism, no use, including knives. According to a witness, the testicles of a victim were cut off, but no findings have corroborated it.

Even if the French government hadn't made public their findings about torture and evisceration at the Bataclan prior to the attacks in Nice, the post-Bastille Day attack rumor operated on the assumption such a coverup was even possible. By all accounts, 89 people died at the Bataclan on 13 November 2015, while another 200 were wounded but survived, and many more escaped unscathed. Contemporaneous reports estimated that 1,000 people were in attendance at the Bataclan on 13 November 2015 with 700 of them were physically unharmed. Had the French government opted to cover up acts of torture and emasculation at the venue, there was nothing stopping the vast majority of surviving witnesses from sharing their stories. None did." Did you read it, Bill?

The first-reponders and detecives were puking it was so horrific. When I read it I became intrigued by what the hell kind of person could do such things to an innocent hostage.

They were mutilated. Eyes torn out, women stabbed repeatedly in 'sensitive areas', men castrated...and more, dis-embowlment.

It's like a pack of demons were released in there. This is disturbing shit!! That people like this are running around Paris, and who knows where.

These people are sick. Do not be taken alive.

EDIT: And France tried to hide this. As others will!!!

Everybody NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT THEIR UP AGAINST! THAT INCLUDES CIVILIANS, the usual targets.

Bluey.... Yes, thanks for the link.

Pretty sick those Fu%Kers.....

I was listening to the radio last nite, KFI. Brian Suits was filling in for someone.

Brian is a ex us army officer who has some really insightful things to say.

One was that to understand in this this fight with RADICAL ISLAM you have two choices: #1 Convert to Islam or #2 Die. pretty simple no.

And another thing, he was told by the "Grand Puba Shieak from Mosel" or some such title, that when a terrorist is dead the best thing to do would be to have a pig (he said a Serbian born and raised pig would be best) eat the remains.

That way the person is not going to get his place in heaven with his virgins.

Or wrap em up in a pig skin and bury the mess....

I hope that when Trump becomes pres he will listen to people like Brian who have real experience dealing with these motherFu%kers...

I hear ya, Guy. And nice meeting you at the Shuteye gig, BTW.

If most people understood the enemy that wants to kill as many Westerners as possible, they would become enraged. And they f*#king should! Especially if they understood what happens to Westerners in the captivity of these demons.

If will take an unusually horrific attack here unfortunately. Even then I wonder if some people would really even care - "I'm o.k., there's no threat here".
I don't want a military state, but we could be doing a much better job of finding these demons. I know this. It's a matter of will.

Do you really want to find the problem and identify it, America? I think America is ready to deal with this problem.

Bluering,

Saying that "thou shall not kill" is a watered down version of the modern, "you shall not murder" is religiously unsuportable on the most basic level of Catholicism.

You're not supposed to kill anyone...

Geez, thanks, Father Brennen! I'll stick to the original Hebrew version. Makes more sense.

If you don't, then you will be good and get to go to Heaven when you die. ('Report back later, we would all love to hear about life beyond the grave)

Why the rub while biding your time on a materialist planet, when spiritual rewards await you just for doing the right thing and then coughing up your last breath ?

There's no ski rack on a hearse.

You're attacking me somehow, but it went over my head. Explain. WTF are you talking about?

Regarding torturing hostages in pretty bad ways: that's a standard way to deal with, in certain parts of Asia. Why would someone even be surprised at this...Just to make clear: in certain parts of Asia, it's not some few "sickos" that are capable of these things, but very regular folks, that's the "culture", pretty much.

Europe is over, it allowed these animals in, unchecked.
Europeans will disappear as ethnic groups, as hostile to their culture immigrants reproduce at much higher rate and take over.

Cutting someone's genitals off and stuffing them into their mouth (after breaking their teeth) had pretty much been a modus operandi of all kind of thugs and animals outside the fake bubble of Western world, where liberals ride their pink fantasy unicorns, etc. I'm not even surprised to hear about that torture, these ain't boys from Portlandia we're talking about. I grew up hearing about that stuff daily, seeing it uncensored, and much worse than what was described. If you let packs of wild animals in, they'll destroy what they can. Entire Western civilization is weakened and gavely threatened by invaders, deluded leftists + corrupt leaders is the cause of it.
