I'm headed to Loon lake next weekend and aside from the one sketch map hand written on Mountain Project, does anyone know if there is more rope climbing in the area? I was hiking from Loon Lake to Spider Lake earlier this past summer and thought I might have seen a sparkly bolt on a wall further back behind Loon Lake, but wasn't able to go check it out at the time. I'd love to hear anyone s adventures in that area. Thanks.

Bob Branscomb is who you want, there's an unofficial guidebook for the entire Crystal basin area. Keep it on the down low.

I'll see if I can get in touch with him, saw the earlier thread. As for keeping it quiet, seems easy enough, I feel like the area is just not appealing to other climbers, maybe just to far up the road? I personally love the quietness up there.
