But of course, tight leggings are de rigueur for any sel respecting modern mountaineer. And don't forget....when going solo a selfie stick is also a must.

I need to go dig up some GOD trip shots. On the second trip we pulled into the Kings Canyon Pack station, an hour and a half late, fully decked out in neon tights, and Hawaiian Shirts. The packers looked at us like we were from Mars...

Togas and powdered wigs for all!

Togas sound good in theory but in practice they present several climbing challenges:
 getting the layers of fabric through leg loops (a swami would be a better compromise)
 nipple burns on squeeze chimneys

Perfectly good crack there in that second pic, why weren't they using it? Don't get me wrong, I love a good stem shot.
