I've been pretty much off the grid for months and getting back on gives me a fresh new look at ST. Lots of stuff stirring in the mind and soul about our great Taco, but one thing that rings loud to me is this.....it seems like we have less and less fems speaking out and participating in the ST campfire.
I'm wondering how many gals have started a new thread in the past 6 months? Am I wrong or is this a trend? If it is a trend how can we reclaim the female audience?
Missed you all and glad to be back. Lynnie

Plenty of fems... just not a lot of women.

This place hasn't been the same without your smiley face, Lynnie. Welcome back!
There was a chick (or it may have been a guy--"she" eventually self-destructed--starting back in about May wanting fishing advice. Soverina? What was her name?
Lady Scarlett's had a couple threads that were diverting.
And Tami's still level-headed Tami, and neebee's still generous neebee, and you might've seen Anita the Piton Eater at Facelift...
"Imagination's a good thing," said John, tears streaming.
You could blame BURT BRONSON, who wouldn't care a damn anyway, I'm just sayin'...

Actuallt, I would say there were more female posters than I ever seen in the last 5 years! And like 3 of them are younger than 30! Things are wild around hereeee!!!

Missed you at FL mouse. Great to hear from you and thanks for your "Imagination" comments.
V. Can you name a new thread by any of them. I'm thinkin' it's been scarce in the last few years. Cheers, L.

some ladies don't post as often. Crimpster is one. But then there are lots of guys who rarely post anymore. Karl is one. Russ, and Roger Breedlove to name a few that are missed.

I'm glad to be back. Surely missed you all. But I loved being on an island with no communication at 10,000 feet in the most beautiful place on earth.
Trying now to make the transition into a world with traffic and too many people crowded into a small space they weren't meant to all be in.
Edit: John M. agree. Clint, thanks, first thing I read when I got back.

Yeah, what Clint said. Seems like females choose to spent their time wisely...not here :) but it is actually cool to see more participating in discussions.

There's just some dark humor lurking somewhere by those two showing up together like that.

Edit, Lynnie, glad you're back. Great seeing you, albeit for a short time at FL.
ST has been especially rife with guns and balls lately. But, you know it's always cyclical if not cynical.

Missed you at FL mouse.
Unfortunately, Mouse couldn't show up until a few hours after your left, Lynnie, which is too bad. I was lucky enough to see you both there. I know I'm piling on, but welcome back!

A few of us gals hang on here despite a slapping noise of scrotum-on-leather which the owners mistake for a clanging of brass balls.
Tami FTW.
