interesting... same place, same time and they didn't had the bad condition as the "worldclass" attempt by Sasha... nice to see, that now also the north american talk about what is really a great achievement!

Berner, the problem is that not enough of North America pays any attention!

I don't read as many climbing magazines as I used to, so sometimes this forum is the only place I see great news like this.

The Eiger is a sport climbing venue now? Who knew? I guess that puts paid to the
global warming debate. BTW, that looks hard, even with rock shoes.

Boy, that's putting it mildly. Many grades above my meager 11b days, and on the North Face of the Eiger no less. Sheesh....

Hehe, I wouldn't trust a Scot to tell when weather is "good".

If the Scots thought it was good, then it was probably covered in rime and verglas from bottom to top, with the wind blowing over 40 mph, and sleet coming in horizontally.
