But the video shows them chanting for the death to the very LEO's directly in front of them that are protecting their right to. Watch closely and you'll see two of the marchers in front pointing directly at the LEO's as the marchers chant the way over the top slogan.

Ask yourself if you had a choice who would you rather be:
A young unemployed black male in the projects
or
a white male police officer with a job.
???
Police officers, as people who go into the military do, make a personal choice to take that job, and are paid to do so. Its a choice, a decision they make.
Young black men don't have to many choices about their lot in life.
Just food for thought.

I'm talking stats.
Come up with some. Violence is down. Of 900,00 sworn officers, 30 died by violence so far this year. That's .0033%. 54 died of illness, including heart attacks, or accidents, mostly traffic related.
If that's a war, it's a good one to be in. Better than any other wars I can think of.
We have problems. A war on cops isn't at the top of the list.

Because as I posted up page, those that wish to proliferate their totally unsubstantiated BS, pretty much ignited this entire issue with that BS. resulting in the ensuing behaviors depicted in the vids I posted.
It is because of the lack of true leadership on the part of those that had the opportunity to calm the situs down and instead poor gas onto a onto the local original events, that this issue is where it is today.

Young black men don't have to many choices about their lot in life.
Some of them may not have very good opportunities, or support, in following through with good choices.
But they still have a choice. And many thousands of them make good choices every single day.
Even as many young white men make wrong choices every single day.

PS: All the above "black men" came from poverty stricken and the crime infested hoods of this country. And there's 1000's if not 100 of 1000's more just like the ones above.

Do I need to waste space on this thread to paste the backgrounds of each one of the individuals I posted above.
Seriously....
The vast majority don't; I've heard this from a thing called statistics.
Far more Whites and other ethnicity's living in poverty in this nation than Blacks. Fact.
My last Skipper was Black and came from the Projects of So Chicago. Half of the Chief's I worked for throughout my Naval Career were Blacks. 2 of 6 pilots I flew with on the Ice were Black. Of the 476 crew I supervised before I retired, 206 were Black, 122 Latino's and the rest a mix match of other ethnicities... etc etc...
It is all personal choice as Bruce posted above.

Not asserting your rights is equivalent of waiving them.
Those two guys live in the fantasy world that "It's my way or the highway". The fact is that I have rights and can exercise them at anytime.
Everyday there is news about bad cops, attorneys and judges. From the Freddie Grays, Alex Landau in Denver, poor people in jail just for fines,Sandra Bland, ETC
Contempt of cop is not illegal. Violating my rights and giving orders that are not lawful is. Not every order and action that a cop does is a "lawful order".
To many cops think that the constitution is an obstacle instead their oath to protect. That right cops, you have to protect my rights at all times.
To many cops have the mentality that they have to be ready for a "911" incident at all times yet will never be in that type of situation or anything related.
IF cops want to dress and act like soldiers then they should join the Army.

Easy to typify it this way, but it's wrong. It is a war on ALL Black Men.
One of my physician partners is black, and he likes to drive very nice cars. He recounts how most of his career here in Los Angeles and Burbank, he was pulled over ONCE A WEEK. No explanation given for the pull over. His registration and license confirmed he was the owner (he is also a nice dresser, usually in a suit and tie), then let go.
He was able to reduce the incidence by driving a less nice car.
Or the elderly Harvard Professor who was arrested for breaking into his own house.......

My first 10 years in the Navy in Norfolk...
Was a very common warning sign on the local gov't and private businesses lawns etc. Many of those businesses were owned by Blacks in VA BCH. Many were enforced with a violent armed response when any of us did so. Fact.
Does that mean everyone in Norfolk/VA BCH treated us as such... No!
Your post is totally unsubstantiated for the norm in this country today as to the common LEO to Black interactions.
