Chris Mac and Greg Barnes-- thank for you everything you do!
Can I suggest that you make some updates to your website?
It seems like little has been done to it since 2012...

It seems like little has been done to it since 2012... Yes we know, at this point we just don't have the time & volunteers to update it...

AMAZING I WAITED TO NOT BE THE FIRST TO POST
but this was so much of a cool thing, i explained bolts and the replacement project, I showed it off and was a proud.
(as if I had had anything to do with it)
you should see non- climbers faces as they watch, and when they have had a summer full of Dawn Wall, it really makes a good impression.

In terms of updating the website-- all you need is something on the front page that makes it clear that ASCA is still an active and fully functioning organization.
Right now, you see a "copyright 2003" on the front page, and the "news" page doesn't have anything newer than 2012...
Additionally, when I click on the "planet granite" link on the front page, it is blocked by my browser as a high-risk site...

Why would it be a good idea for climbers to highlight the fact that they are peppering a national park with fixed anchors?

This was so neat! Our headlamps are in this video, we were finishing the route right when you started, and were so baffled by the crazy lights moving up half-dome when we were on the hike out. Such an awesome cause by the full-moon light!

I thought the lights were there to recognize and celebrate the only route in Yosemite that was rebolted, with permission from the NPS, using a power drill:-) NPS are you listening? (hint, hint)
Seriously, very cool idea and execution!

Great idea. We just climbed this route a week ago. There are two lights on the Regular NW route...climbing or re-setting the route?

Oh no. You put the lights on the wrong route. Those are supposed to go on the Royal Arches Rappels!

That was so cool! A fantastic way to illuminate what the ASCA does in a beautiful, artistic way. Next the Nose?

I found this thread trying to see if Half Dome had been rebolted yet. Wrong search terms I guess
Having red lights on the bolt anchors sorta reinforces how short the route really is compared to the infinite slab hike afterwards!
Nice work
Peace
