Saw a photo of a string if lights on Snake Dike last night. Just curious if anyone knows if there was conga line on the route last night.

Heh, as I was looking out my window about 11 last night I found myself thinking that the moonlight looked bright enough to climb SD by. That's definitely high on my checklist. Headlights seem to defeat the purpose, though...

Never climbed the snake dike at night, but did do the cables for sunrise many years ago.
This was day 2 of my 20 day JMT hike.
day 20, sunrise atop keeler needle.

I think it was one party of two or three on the snake dike?
Before the moon came up I saw only one headlamp.
Then later at about 11:00PM I saw the led lights spaced equal lengths on the snake dike but they never made movements for the whole time I was observing them.
This made me guess that the person involved with this event had a series of fixed headlamps spaced at intervals turned on?
