Hi everyone, I just had an ICD implanted last week and have found various posts and articles relating to this topic. The posts are quite old however, any new experiences out there? I'm dying (hopefully not in a literal sense) to get back out there on the rock asap!
Best regards

I can't imagine it would be any different climbing than other activities (e.g. driving a car, having sex, etc.).
I think the concerns are how often do you have arrhythmia, and do you get lightheaded or pass-out?
And,also are you on a blood thinner?
I admire you drive and love of climbing!

No i dont suffer from any symptoms at all.. I did have an arrythmia back in 1999 which led to a fainting spell. That's it! I'm not on any meds either so yes I'm really hopeful abt getting back on the rock soon.
