hey there say, all... wow, aren't telephones just GREAT!!! JUST HAD 3 phone conversations!!

yep, THREE, and really great phone calls, and oh my:
and--ALL IN A ROW... whewwww, and wow, and wow, again...

say, USE ONE, tonight!!!
or today, as the case may still be...

and--enjoy the voices of beloved-friends, family, or special long-ago
acquaintances... :)

now, get busy, :)

of, course, i MOST humbly and politely , ask... :)

*use the OLD kind, you will be less tempted to 'text'
(it seems to be epidemic--glad i only have old phones, hee hee)

wow, think i will do a few more, and perhaps even get another, later,
as well...

happy good wonderful eve, to all!!
and to all, a good phone time...

:)

edit:
wow, say, nita, you just got me to thinking, from your comment, downline:

it just now sunk in,
oh my SOME FOLKS are constantly on the phone--i never really thought of that... i would not really be a fan of that, as such, but wow, phones
SURE are a miracle...

i am far to old fashioned, i think... :))

i never SEE the ol' phone, myself,
until i am home, and, done with chores, etc... i did not realize when i shared this, that oooops, folks are and can be:

ON the phone constantly...

:)

but for those, that don't use one often,
three cheers, and yep:

get out there and get a good phone call in tonight...

:)

Sorry Neebs - nobody in the world has landlines any more - if they did I'd still be working for the Phone Company - everything's gone cellular - buzz buzz!

>:D<

and nita, more good truth, from you, too, meaning:
me: not so much 'fan of phone' to have to constantly hang on to it, myself... but wow, THE miracle to call folks... that is really fantastic, :)

I wonder how many folks are hanging in there with their landlines? Mine is as the dodo....gone forever.

I remember our family rotary phone of nearly 70 years ago....we had a party line (shared with several other families) for the first few years. I'll never forget that first phone # MI 6-3406.

I HATED rotary phones (I hate phones in general really). I think it started because of the phone number we had growing up...almost thirty years of dialing:

498-0800.

Of course, on the second to last zero, my finger would fumble and I'd have to start over again.

I'll bet there are people alive today who have no idea what a dial tone is.

No phone for a year; it's very nice. Letter writing is underrated.

No cell here either, just a landline. I do borrow my wife's cell sometimes when traveling. She wants to hear from me more than I think is necessary. Kinda like booze, if it is there I will use it, if not, no big deal.

I have been out in the middle of nowhere and wanted to make a call. No cell and no payphone anywhere. What did I do? I asked someone if I could use their phone. It worked.

Cell phones have given a myriad of people the unwarranted notion that they are more
important than they really are.

a touch of 'miracle' is needed from time to time, for a phone
call from the wilderness, :)
