Things are just fine in Idaho, despite all the California right-wing Christians that keep moving here, & the 1/3rd of our population that is Mormon. (Good people all, but they mostly vote Republican).
The gene pool is somewhat shallow, but things aren't as bad as you imagine.
And Idaho will always vote for a Republican Presidential candidate.
