Not having a job should be motivation enough. If we cut the gov workforce, then look to the government to create jobs the only way they know how to do that is to, well, give them government jobs. Vicious circle that it is.

That's a hell of a website locker.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection --> parent agency --> Department of Homeland Security

They're multiplying like those spiders chasing Steve McQueen

In order to renew my driver's license I got electronically fingerprinted 4 times.

BTW, I passed the test.

I forgot - what was the name of that British Columbia island that was willing to take US refugees if Drumpf becomes president?

Donald Trump nabs billionaire GOP backer T. Boone Pickens

And exactly what value-added does T-Bones supply in the U.S. economy that he should have so much money?

Did he serve in the military?

Pickens' family moved to Amarillo, Texas.[4] Pickens never served in the military[4] but instead attended Texas A&M on a basketball scholarship, but he lost the scholarship[4] and transferred to Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University), where he majored in geology

Good match-up with Romney and Trump.

You have nothing to fear...You have Hillary. She is capable and smart, oh wait nobody likes her. But thank god for Bernie, but he is just so hard to take serious. He looks just like Larry David and is always yelling. Its like watching Seinfeld. You better remember that island in BC because I am pretty sure the white house will be changed to the gold house next year.

I like Klimmer too
That's why I engage with him, I'm hoping that he could come around with reason

Did you hear the story on NPR (okay I guess I've outed myself as an "intellectual liberal" since I listen to NPR haha) anyway they reported on a study on how to change people's minds. The study was controversial with faked data. But they tried it again and the methods do work.

Basically you DONT reason with people. Their views are based on emotion. So you talk to them, let them know you, than explain how some thing in your life affected you.

They had an interviewer talking to a woman who was 100% against abortion. The interviewer was a young woman and after the talked a while explained that she had an abortion and it was a very difficult decision but right for her because she was too young etc. at the end of the interview the interviewee then said everyone should have access to abortion. Complete reversal. Wild stuff.

But of course it has its limits.

It's so heart breaking to hear of kids that get disowned by their parents for being gay, in love with a person from a different race or religion, or they just don't believe their religion anymore. Family is so much more important than religion IMO.

Could it be that your only listening to the religious crowd? i think if you listen a little harder you'll hear just as many, actually there are more secular daddies heartbroken because their son smokes pole. A bias or predudice over homosexuality can't exclusively be left in the religious isle. the first step in the approach must be from an evolutionary standpoint. Hence in the deepest depths of our cell walls we are an organism built to procreate. Not standing up to meet that requirement is, welp, bias-able. By many.

If not procreating is a cause for strong bias, then you have to show equal bias against 47.6% of all women in childbearing years.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey, in 2014, 47.6 percent of women between age 15 and 44 had never had children, up from 46.5 percent in 2012. This represents the highest percentage of childless women since the bureau started tracking that data in 1976.

Escopeta seems to be really motivated today & is posting a lot.

However his post:

Buying them out won't work. I said less government is the only way out of the divided country we have. I didn't say it would be easy.

Instituting term limits at every level of government would be a start.

Requiring, under penalty of death, that legislators must live and play by the same set of laws as regular citizens is an absolute must.

Vastly simplifying the tax code and mandating a balanced budget/debt reduction plan is also critical.

But most of all, and this one is the biggie, 50% of the government workforce needs to go find work in the private sector. We absolutely can get everything we need done by government in this country with half the people doing it.

Without those "drastic" steps, our country continues down the path of divisive citizens and rich bureaucrats. And we take one more lap around the lip of the bowl.

is the same old far-right wing, dog-turd, stupid spew, that Escopita enjoys posting.

What strange-world, do those who post what Escopeta posts, live in?

Requiring, under penalty of death, that legislators must live and play by the same set of laws as regular citizens is an absolute must.

well what was the population in 74 compared to 14?

those kinda facts need be relative..

If so that half the women of child bearing age aren't "producing"

from an evolutionary standpoint, i'd say it's environmentally provoked. Over genetic.

what might say you?
