MB1: Don't you consider your game theory to be nothing short of a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Meaning if you don't think there is enough votes to support you casting yours then there will never be enough votes for you cast a third party ballot until your vote is no longer needed.

I used to feel the way you do and I realize that there is no candidate that completely covers my views. But I decided that I'm simply no longer going to vote for a candidate that represents such high percentage of objectionable views regardless of how bad the "other" guy is.

I don't care if Satan himself was running against Donald Trump (and we're close) it would still not inspire me to vote for Trump as long as there is another option that aligns more closely with my views.

If this election shows that Hillary wins and the rest of the votes are split evenly between Drumph and the Libertarian then it just might inspire people to look beyond the religious-right controlled GOP.

Thoughts?

I can't find it anywhere, but heard on the news that some one toted up the number who have actually voted for Trump (= 10 million). There are something like 130 million voters.

Equal time for Hillary? I did not hear of anyone counting up her vote totals.

BTW Herr Braun thanks for pointing that out. This whole thread could probably be distilled down to about 100 posts. Reilly and his wife have volunteered to do it (for a price).

He made it this far with basically with greater than 40% of the Republican vote

Republicans love him, he is their savior from the actual Republican Party that they hate with a passion, since they screwed them so bad with big promises but no action
but they can't vote for a commie liberal, so The Donald is the answer

For them, He's not in bed with the Neo-con leaders or the big money interests of the GOP, and not liberal commie

Just what they have been looking for since Reagan!!!

Problem is, he's in bed with the Neo-cons and taking money from the big money interests,
and he's a fascist rather than a commie

you to keep in mind that these are not very bright people, they don't know there is difference between liberal and commie,
nor do they know that what they really are asking for is pure fascism

"Eskochea
No where did it say that Obama was Politfact Liar of the Year"

Craig, Esco has no idea what the f*#k PolitiFact is.

Surprised? Me either. Such resources are dedicated to filtering the endless blather from all kinds of politicians, and checking them for actual facts.

Esco doesn't know about such things. He prefers to remain blissfully ignorant, with his mouth sewn tightly to the spewing ass of whatever crap shows up in his email inbox.

Facts? We don't need no stinkin' facts. We've got Faux News!!

"That Trump made it this far really is amazing..."

It is amazing. And it erodes the oft-repeated whining about how the only candidates that can become viable must have the blessing of the Establishment. (This goes for Bernie, too.)

Too bad the one who managed to get around the Establishment is a Grade A Number 1 D#@&%ebag.

Esco, PolitiFact is a fact-checking resource. They take the various claims that politicians make, and then dig into them to check them for accuracy.

There is no 'Lie of the Year' with PolitiFact, moron.

Here's some background, not that you give a flatulent sh#t.

You mean where it says this?

PolitiFact.com is a project operated by the Tampa Bay Times, in which reporters and editors from the Times and affiliated media outlets "fact-check statements by members of Congress, the White House, lobbyists and interest groups".[2] They publish original statements and their evaluations on the PolitiFact.com website, and assign each a "Truth-O-Meter" rating. The ratings range from "True" for completely accurate statements to "Pants on Fire" (from the taunt "Liar, liar, pants on fire") for false and ridiculous claims.[3]

The site also includes an "Obameter", tracking President Barack Obama's performance with regard to his campaign promises, and a "GOP Pledge-O-Meter", which tracks promises made by House Republicans in their "Pledge to America". PolitiFact.com's local affiliates keep similar track of statements and figures of regional relevance, as evidenced by PolitiFact Tennessee's "Haslam-O-Meter" tracking Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam's efforts[4] and Wisconsin's "Walk-O-Meter" tracking Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker's efforts.[5]

While PolitiFact has won several awards, the site has been both praised and criticized by independent observers, conservatives and liberals alike. Both liberal and conservative bias have been alleged at different points, and criticisms have been made that PolitiFact attempts to fact-check statements that cannot be truly "fact-checked".[6][7]

I went ahead and quoted you so that when you realize what a tard you are, you can't go back and edit it.

They've only been handing out the Lie of the Year since 2009.

Obeezy earned it in 2013 with his obamacare flatulence. Trump matched his crazy and got the nod in 2015.

It's generally bad form to claim the mental high ground when you can't even read the links that you posted yourself that contradick (sp?) your claim.

Whatever, Esco. That's not what PolitiFact is known for.

They do ongoing fact-checking of claims made by politicians on boths sides of the aisle, whether they like it or not.

Trumps record is truly stunning, though:

“PolitiFact has been documenting Trump’s statements on our Truth-O-Meter, where we’ve rated 76 percent of them Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire, out of 77 statements checked,” according to the publication. “No other politician has as many statements rated so far down on the dial.”

PolitiFact listed several misstatements, including one in which Trump said Mexico sends its “bad” citizens over the U.S. border and another that “whites killed by blacks — 81 percent” when, in fact, most people are killed by someone of the same race."

Suck on that, potato head.
