Oh, Stephane, you already have the best of these specimens!

Of course this isn't first generation gear, the stuff on this thread were all things readily available during the relative boom in climbing in the mid-late 70's and early 80's (when I got started).

Regarding these Chouinard Hexentrics, I was very fortunate to be helped a lot by the generous healyje...

that nut tool is a bad design - inadequate hook on the end.

Just FYI to all you collectors out there: I have a bunch of cool stuff that is going up on eBay in the next few weeks. It takes lots of time to create listings, so check back often!

Here is a link to my items for sale:

How much do you want for the single, gray and red (left) jumar grip? I only need that one. Thanks.

Just received my items from RocktoRock. He is honest and has great communication.

He even threw in a couple more vintage climbing items at no charge. Although, "my favorite" is a small spider that cruised on down from Idaho in an alcohol stove. Now, it's out and stretching its legs in my office.

Ba'BUMP!

Thought this was an awesome find in the gear! New old stock drilled hexes.

I made an offer on a bunch of gear and Levi asked me to make an offer on everything that was left. He didn't want to piece everything out for several reasons. I gave good value on everything, but I ended up with stuff I don't need for my collection. I'm going through the massive amount of things and deciding what I want to keep and get rid of. The stuff I'm getting rid of is going up on eBay a few pieces at a time. If you wanted anything particular, contact me through Supertopo and we can make a deal.

Here is the link to what I currently have listed on eBay:

Update... I've a few cool items up for sale: tube chocks, some cool royal robbins and chouinard biners, new old stock ascenders with all the original paperwork, crack'n'ups, new old stock warthogs, and coming soon... an original hand written bill of sale from Great Pacific Iron Works from the mid 1970s along with the items purchased on that bill of sale!

PM me directly or text me at (419) 957-4021 if your looking for stuff from that lot. I may still have it. Have some Crack'n'Ups, biners, warthogs, first generation chouinard stoppers, leeper and chouinard aid hooks, more.

Hello everyone - I've sorted through what I want to keep and have a few items up for sale from this lot of sweet vintage gear. I created a listing on Mountain Project at the following link:

http://www.mountainproject.com/v/moving-sale-prices-lowered-lots-of-trad-gear-added/111031091

There are some crack'n'ups, tube chocks, and some other cool vintage items at what I think are very good prices. Contact me through MP or SuperTopo and make me offers, package deals, etc.

Wait? Thats It!?

Roots can you do some show and tell? Did you snag All the Dolt stuff that you could get your hands on :~D
\
Was it all new un-used? where did it all come from ?

Right Gunks Jessie, inquired at Rock & Snow, in New Paltz NY, but there wasnt much info on who or what was up.

Its a crazy mix of all the gear ive grown up having seen or used.

All new with tags? such a mystery to me.

what roots is talking about

(then too, just tucked in at the top of that picture, almost out of the frame, are the "Caster wheels"?

Gnome -

I didn't get much. I think most of all of it went to "GunksJesse".

I simply picked up:

-Dolt hanger with tag unused
-Snow saw unused
-Various bottles and containers unsued

All of which are shown by the op at the beginning of his ad.

No idea who the climber was. I asked but seller did not provide a name.

Marty was the only one that recognized the clear lexan tool. Excellent score for his collection!!!

Great to see the pictures of all of this again. It was quite a kit!!
