Nice addition to the misspelled thread title tradition. I really want to get back to Cheramblin.

Yeah there is a route done on the SW buttress done by EC Joe and Richard Leversee called Archangel - IV 5.10 A0. Topo is in the old SEKI guide.
My friend and I did a new route on the South Face about two weeks ago that was BEAUTIFUL and mostly in 5.7-5.8 range. We called it 'Dark Angels Have More Fun' (IV 5.9+ w/ R on 5.7-8ish terrain). I counted the length of pitches and it was about 1,800 ft! So I hope someone actually goes out to do it if I make a topo for such a big thing! :) No choss at all. Fun fun fun good good good. We felt like we got away with murder. Will make a topo and a mp page for it. Deserves to be climbed. Especially by all the people doing the angel wings. Cherubim is what you stare at all day from camp...if you stay on the crest for the full thing at least. Better than Matthis in my honest opinion.

That area is soooo cool in general...over the last two trips I climbed the Saber ridge, Prism, Cherubim and the Angel Wings, twice. Everything but AW had incredible rock with cool original features. If those peaks were in Toulumne somewhere, they would overshadow everything else and take all the traffic.

Here is a really good route for which I did make a page on MP. If you get out there Mooch, do the Saber ridge too, it is mega fun.

The area is a treasure. Endless clean granite 15-20 miles from the end of the road.
