Tradman, what I think needs to happen if for you to take a couple inner city black kids under your wing as a big brother or advisor. You wouldn't feel like such a entitled white ahole, and they would be better people for it I am sure.

I work my ass off , drive a sh#t box chrysler w/ 189k miles on it and barely make rent. I am not in the possition to take on that kind of responsibility. I know I am super lucky to live in VT where we have pleanty of water, rich soil and low crime. We also have really low wages and a very high cost of liveing. I get annoyed when the media and folks like you makes it sound like I am to blame for people acting like as#@&%es in the cities. If that makes me entitled so be it.

The people who should mentor those inner city kids are the home owners of the 2nd and 3rd homes that I work on with the realization that i will most likly never be able to afford to own a single home.
