Here's a long shot - I lost my wedding ring in the valley a little while ago. Most likely at the base of Church Bowl Tree. It's titanium with an inlaid ring of meteorite. It looks like this:
and has the word "Mine" engraved on the inside.

Any chance one of you happened to find it?

Thanks

How long is "a little while ago" and how likely is "most likely"?
The next time i'm there, i'll take a look....

Let me know if you find it to save me the trouble of looking.

I have a metal detector and live near SF. If you wanna borrow it and press your luck PM me. Not 100% sure if titanium will register on the detector. Also, I know metal detectors are illegal in the park, so you might need to get some special approval from the rangers.

I have a very good metal detector and live right outside of the park. Happy to help if you can get permission from NPS or I'll go look for it if you have a basic idea where you lost it.

Thanks everyone for the replies and concern. It was months ago that I lost the ring, but only just thought to post it on the taco. I think the metal detector route is moot at this point.

hey there say, hank... still, you never know... many a wedding ring, has turned up, found...

fun stories, sometimes, too...

keep the hope, on the shelf... and we may yet hear from you,
as to some good news, yet... :)

say, keep the subject going though, put a few more notes, etc, in spots, even though the 'hope' is on the shelf, you still need to get info OUT,

:)
