For sunday, tmeadows:

Snow showers likely, mainly after 11am. Some thunder is also possible. Cloudy, with a high near 45. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Half inch. I'm nervous because the temp forecast has dropped 30° in the last week, so who knows how much more it's going to plummet in the next two days. I'm supposed to be passing through Sunday afternoon, and I don't know how sensitive the NPS (or is it CalTrans or CHP who decides?) is about early season white stuff.

The pass is closed as of today....im guessing it will open back up after the storm passes or I have a long drive home from the valley.....
