If you are switching carriers just for that one area I would double check and see if you are actually getting coverage at the visitor center with ATT.

I'm sure some visitor or a friend with ATT could help confirm or not.

Just because you have line of site to your nearby carriers tower does not always mean they have pointed the signal in your direction or distance.

Good luck and yeah Hughs satellite internet and a wireless modem (ie creating you own wifi hotspot) might also be a relatively inexpensive solution.

Att has the best potential up there. One of the rangers gets reception in the afternoons. We know a guy who works at the store so we'll talk to him.

Satelite stuff is out... too expensive once you add in all the CC variables. Cutting out the as#@&%es at the cc processing company by switching to Square will save a ton of money BTW.
