All those photos were taken in Florida. There is no climbing in Colorado.

Jeff - cool!!! - thanks for the stoke.!!

What date was the Birds of Fire (Chiefshead) picture taken. I hope not recently . . .

If you don't mind sharing the specific location of the bivy picture, would be curious to know. Of course many of us have our secret bivy locations we don't want to put out on the internet - understand if you prefer to stay mum.

12a on Spearhead - pretty damn hard! Good work!!

Not a recent photo of Chiefs Head! That was after an early September storm a few years back.

The bivy is in glacier gorge but I don't want to give out the details on the intraweb!!

I sent you a PM with some specifics on how to find the bivy. I've used that bivy many times and it's one of my favorite spots to hang out. I've done 31 technical ascents of spearhead, so I know that area pretty well :)

I'm not near a scanner,
In the March/April 1986 Rock & Ice, there is a great segment on the Diamond, with a Mini-guide to "Longs Peak Free Climbs" by Roger Briggs, & Eric Guokas, (rip)

The. June 1994 issue of Climbing is home to the classic piece
Written by Jeff Achey, "Longs Strange Trip" with great pictures and a
Logistics break-down, and a poster pic, topo.

I have my eye set on the Diamond later this year.

I passed a chance by in 1981 to get on it, and I don't think waiting another 34 years would help my chances.

Two weeks ago. VVVVVVVV

Thanks for the photos. Great place with superb rock quality. Have bivied a few times back in that Glacier Gorge in more than one nice spot. The base of Longs is a bit more challenging, but there.
