Finally.
A story that will be interesting to see where it all goes.

Jim got it right...apparently only the US and Swiss were inclined to do anything about the ridiculous corruption.

And FIFA continues to play dumb, insisting that the election for the leader of the corruption will go on as planned on Friday and that there won't be any re-vote for 2018 and 2022 WCs.

The problem is that they are cleaning the house, but what they really need to do is flush the toilet to get rid of that smell. Not going to happen.

The FBI has nothing better to do? Don't we have a massive gang problem still?
Oh, right, investigating soccer officials is much more fun and there is no running
with sharp pencils involved.

So Reilly, the US losing the WC bid for 2022 to Qatar probably cost the US hundreds of millions, if not billions. And thousands of jobs.

Are you saying that's not something worth investigating?

Prosecuting white collar crime is the highest order of righteousness. Problem is....the penalties are never close to being stiff enough.

My guess is the FBI has a few other sticks in the fire as well.
I'm glad someone had the balls to take this shite on even if you don't.

If you want to know why this matters Wetzel, as usual, nails it.

"They aren’t moving them, of course, because if you double-cross Vladimir Putin or the Qatari rulers, then the real dirt might spill and ole Sepp might be next."

And before we get Werner spouting off about stupid Americans this has little to do with people in this country. Most don't give a crap. Stupid rest of the world is so addicted with Futbol they are the facilitators.

Hey, Delhi, my cousin was Assistant Director of the FBI so be nice to me, I still got contacts.
I imagine he's rolling over in his grave about now though.

If you haven't seen this satirical expose by John Oliver on FIFA that he did before the 2014 World Cup, it is a must see...

Actually the FBI has been making ongoing investigations into a number of criminally inclined gangs who have been killing innocent unarmed people.

The gangs' colors are usually blue, and most of them in addition to firearms carry tasers.

Gang problem?

The banking system got bailed out to the tune of a trillion dollars in corporate welfare and very few have gone to jail.

I refuse to believe that FIFA is corrupt , because they gave $50,ooo-100,ooo to the charitable Clinton Foundation, for one thing.

Saw this Tweet:

Pretty sure the DoJ has now charged more FIFA officials than bankers for serious crimes.

And this:

The irony: The DoJ is more interested in arresting foreigners in a foreign country working for a foreign organization than US bankers. #FIFA

How can any of the guilty be arrested when we can't use our hands?
