I sent the PM hours ago, it was about a bear, I guess you didn't get it
Me and Locker we're sort of at odds for awhile, then at the last Josh Fest
We smoked'em peace pipe together, and now we're extra good Bros, just the way it should be

No PM in my inbox, F...checked my bulk mail folder, too, and nada. (Though I did find a free membership to a XXX chatroom...think I'll skip that one.)
What a pisser. What's the deal with this dang ST PM function?

Dr F,
A friend gave me this catcus. What is it's name please...I water it every week and it surprised me with beautiful orange flowers...
Do i need to fertilize it?...it seems to propagate pretty easy. Anything i should know about it?....
Edit:Thanks, Dr F.....(-;

Hi nita
That's a Peanut Cactus, or more accurately a Echinopsis chamaecereus, they are somewhat tropical, so can stand a lot of water.Fertilize Yes!! a couple times a year in the spring and summer
Orange flowers are the standard species
There a bunch of hybrid Peanut Cactuses, they have different color flowers,
This one is called "Fire Chief"
Hey Doty, I can't believe you became a real climber, so cool,
where do you live now?
It's been almost 40 years now, can you believe it!!

Hey, F...I just changed the email account that I associated with ST...try another PM, and let's see if it's an ST issue, or an email account problem.

I have been living with my brother in Arizona for the past 7 years but I still get most of my work in California so I am back and forth frequently. I jumped into climbing with both feet pretty late around 35 years old. I still try to climb a couple days a week.
my twenties was pretty dark and crazy if I had known I was living this long I would have taken better care of myself.
I have to get to one of those Gordon get togethers it would be great to catch up with you

Got that PM, Craig...looks like it's a problem with the email account, and not the ST PM function.
The account I switched to I rarely use, so I gotta fix some sending issues with it...stand by.

Did you get 2 messages?
I sent one, and closed the message box by clicking the X
The next one I closed by clicking the "close this window" tab, which may be mandatory but not identified as such.

Yep, I got 'em both.
This suggests that the missing ST PM's may be related to the email account/ISP, not ST's email system.
Prior to the change I made last night, my ST-related emails would go to a Yahoo email addy...sometimes I get 'em, sometimes I don't.
The change I made directed emails to another account (not Yahoo), and both of your emails came in normally (I replied to the second one).
Wouldn't surprise me if this was a Yahoo problem...I've had lots of similar annoyances with Yahoo over the years.
