Leaving for TPR and hope to be in pure land in a couple hours. Relatively free from conflict because there is little electronic communication. Alas only streams, birds and the wind seem to talk at 10,000 ft. lynnie

I think it's a general trend that we don't value other people's point of view if it conflicts with our own. Along with that, the PC crowd is gaining the upper hand, so if we tell someone to f*#k off, and they whine about it, we get the reprimand. In any case, I keep swearing off the off-topics, and somehow allowing myself to be drawn back in. If you want to stick around (and I think the forum will last a while yet, in one form or another) you'd best limit yourself to climbing content and cute fluffy bunny pictures. Baby talk will soon be the preferred language.

I get along with most on the forum; just a few of the old mean-spirited rock jocks that can't handle someone disagreeing with their myopic world view. Have a few hassles with a couple of bullies & bigots, but few others
