I'd be good up until that Grand Canyon section. You actually hiked your bike through that????
Man, you gotta want it.
Way to go, much respect!

Picked up a cheap'ish Gravity Bullseye Monster Comp fat bike after riding a fatty in Singapore. Took it for a maiden voyage today and really had a good time on it. Only one complaint for under $700, the brakes need an upgrade for sure.

i'm a map gayzer. thanks to your oomphyness, in an effort to dial in on the geographic details of the AZT, i've become aware of the mapping function on MTBikeAZT.com

for instance: http://mtbikeaz.com/trail-index/mogollon-rim/highline-trail-31/ tons of backcountry airports shown ... bonus!

still haven't decoded HAB though ... Harmful Algal Bloom seems unlikely

good place to highlight your blog again:

Shameless plug....here are the electric bikes I make :)

Took me a long time to finally get an Evo....

Was looking all over for a 2017 Team frameset without discs, turns out they were only released in Europe. Then this bike popped up on eBay - as a fundraiser for Bicycles for Humanity Colorado. That's the non profit of my favorite Pro race team, Cannondale-Drapac.

Since I got it, I have been using it to ride in a lot of charity rides - paying it forward. I already had a full C/D team kit (Screw Rule 17) so I set the bike up with the team correct cages, bottles and Garmin computer.

2017 Cannondale Evo HiMod Di2, Cannondale-Drapac Team Issue. Former practice bike of current rider Lawson Craddock. Ultegra Di2, Dura Ace/SiSL2 setup.

Was set up with a Standard front crank when I got it, currently running an OPI Spidering Mid-Compact with Ultegra 11-30 on the back as we have a heavy climbing ride coming up (Rosarito-Ensenada.) Will go back to the Standard when I have flatter stuff to do.

I know it's not the kind of bike this thread is referring to, but if electric bikes are cool (and they are very cool!) then classic old airheads are cool too. Plus it is a total hoot to ride.

Besides, I just picked it up, spring is here, and life is gud.

This is SBDP, Same Bike Different Place. The photo is looking southeast from the coast road between Porto Novo and Rubiera Grande on Santo Antao Island, Cape Verde. Yup, them there are cobbles. I have ridden the cobbles of Paris Roubaix and these translate nicely into a 3-star sector, except that they are way longer than a km or two. In the towns you have to really hold your line or you might get run over by a truck or errant taxi.
