40 Gu packets
1 liter of water
1 Da Brim
1 Chongo's wall hauling book
1 Sat phone

Canyoneering is tough stuff, recommend posting and then going and rappeling the Nose as a warmup. Also agree with the 4 GoPros

One forty-five caliber automatic
Two boxes of ammunition
Four days' concentrated emergency rations
One drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills
One miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible
One hundred dollars in rubles
One hundred dollars in gold
Nine packs of chewing gum
One issue of prophylactics
Three lipsticks
Three pair of nylon stockings.

Sounds like a fella' could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.

A savvy partner or three...

Edit to add...whilst looking through your "wish" list...

If you're going to spend that kinda money, get a canyoning specific rope. Imlay, Sterling, or Bluewater. And, get a 60m rope.

If you're going to be in wet canyons with water flow, get a Sterling ATS or a Petzl Pirana. If just dry canyons...maybe something like a ATC for rappelling.

Depending on the area, you might want some anchorage material. Rappel rings, rapides, some webbing.

A backpack with drainage. Imlay, Petzl, Rodcle, etc. Again, depends on where. Keg or drybag.

If were me, I'd get a canyon specific harness.

Wetsuit or drysuit?

Some other stuff to consider:

You'll need some bombproof anchors. Fortunately, in canyoneering you don't have to worry about that.

Well we also call them sticks or drums.

But somebody didn't attend the screening of Dr. Strangelove at the IC sushifest a tear ago.

edit;
gezas, the short answer is "skill"

You might find this hard to believe, but there are sanctimonious self-righteous canyoneers that, hiding their parsimonious natures, will go to extremes to avoid leaving a good bolted chain in appropriate spots.
Sometimes a flash flood will destroy their constructs leaving a subsequent party with no option but to bolt, but if another flood leaves sufficient material then guess who comes along and chops the bolts?

Be prepared.

As I was scraping my cheek along the floor of a nine inch high cave passage I suddenly noticed the rocks were all water washed spotlessly clean. That was the moment I decided, based upon the amount of fun I was getting from caving, my being there at all did not compute. As regards objective danger slot canyons are like alpine climbing, I think. At some point, make sure you have thought this through.
