Where is the "Buy Terry a gallon of gas" button? Or at least a paypal address to send to?

Glad to see the gunks tradition of sewing and selling chalkbags is alive and well. Did the same in the early '80's after learning from some other gunkies.

The question is, do chalkbags produced in the gunks still have a "summit doob" pouch???

I bought one of HG's chalkbags 2 years ago during this fundsraiser, and it is a really great chalkbag!

Thank you, Mister E!

No pot pockets - I'm not that good at sewing.

Upate on shipping....I didn't realize that small town Iowa post offices are closed on Saturday. By the time I hit Des Moines, I was also too late for the ones with Saturday hours. So - everything will go out on Monday.

Thanks all for the help. It really has been...helpful!

Around Joliet, Illinois, trying to figure how to gt through Chicago and further while avoiding the hwy 80 tolls.

Lucas is good. Had a bit of an epic last night that involved a cop, who immediately recognized Lucas was a MaltiPoo, by the way he was bouncing up and down, barking his head off while simultaneously wagging his tail....

Long story short - I've never been so glad to run out of gas in my life!(Had strong headwinds for many miles, but didn't realize they would reduce gas mileage so badly - figured I still had 50 miles to go before empty. Stopped at a park and the van wouldn't run afterward.... I thought I had killed it of course and was shocked beyond belief when we put in a gallon of gas and it started immediately).

Hey Terry I will be ordering some earrings for Bonnie once I sober up just a bit. I thought it was Friday!!! Good luck getting back East. To every one else who doesn't know if that is possible Terry is a fantastic person. Even if you don't need another chalk bag order one up and pass it on to a friend. It will be very powerful karma! Karma is very important to a rock climber. I am a very, very firm believer in good karma. Bill

Thank you for the good reference, Losbill!

I am about 120 miles from home now, stopped at Starbucks to do a last set of emails/internet/work before getting back.

Looks like I'll make it - phew! This one was a bit stressful, and when it came to the home stretch, I drove a lot of miles these last few days(compared to my usual 300 tops - hahah). But I know my boss has been wanting me back at the job, and also trailwork starts Sunday. Plus, there is a Gunks Climbers Coalition par Sunday. This gives me time to get back and two days to transfer van contents to cabin.

Studly - Sorry the Supertopo message didn't go through, but I DID get yours and responded. Now it is going direct instead of via ST, so you should receive it. If not - post up, and I will copy the contents to this thread.

Edit: So THAT'S why you bought that bag, John! Well, everyone does need a beverage holder. Or a kitten holder. Or even a chalk holder.
