Not the season you were looking for, but at least I have this pic I took on May 7th, 2006. I was there on skis, wanted to ski the gully, even with its giant steps, but the climb was more than I would solo ropeless with just a snow axe and snow crampons on ski boots. If the lowest chockstone had been a little friendlier I might have at least attempted but it was well beyond me. I climbed and skied the other nice stripe just left of it which is uninterrupted to a notch in Haeckel's shoulder.
Here's looking up at a high angle at that lowest chockstone. Presumably later in the spring parts of this ice over nicely as the upper gully's snow melts.
